I-O Data’s Latest Portable DVD Writer

I-O Data is back by bringing you their latest portable DVD write called the DVRP-U8E. Measuring just 20mm thick, this slim portable drive features a USB 2.0 interface and provides write speeds of up to 8x for DVD+/-R, 6x for DVD+/-RW, 5x for DVD-RAM and 24x for CD-R/RW. I-O Data is getting ready to launch its new 12x internal Blu-ray writer ‘BRD-SH12B’ for the Japanese market. Featuring a black bezel, the drive offers a 4MB of buffer memory, a SATA interface and provides write speeds of 12x for BD-R, 2x for BD-RE, 16x for DVD-R/+R, 12x for DVD-RAM, 8x for DVD-R/+R DL and DVD+R, 6x for DVD-RW, 48x for CD-R and 24x for CD-RW. I-O Data is about to launch another 20-inch LCD monitor ‘LCD-AD201XGB’ for the Japanese market which is designed specifically for small office/home office users. Specs-wise, this new widescreen monitor supports a native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels and provides 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. Besides having its new 8x external Blu-ray writer ‘BRD-UH8LE‘ that we mentioned yesterday, I-O Data has also introduced its latest 8x external DVD drive called the DVDP-U8S. Measuring 137mm x 154mm x 20mm and weighing 340 grams, this slim drive features a USB 2.0 interface (mini USB connector) and is capable of reading DVDs at speeds of up to 8x and CDs at 24x. I-O Data is set to launch a new series of external HDDs for the Japanese market, the HDJ-U. I-O Data comes back with their latest external USB 2.0 HDD that adopts a AES256bit chipset that will encrypt all of your sensitive data that makes it impossible for anyone to use/read your data without the proper credential. I-O Data BRP-US6 External Blu-ray Burner

I-O Data today unveiled their latest external Blu-ray burner, the BRP-US6, that connects to a notebook through a USB 2.0 interface. Basic specifications include 6x burning for BD-R SL, 2x for BD-R DL/BD-RE and 6x reading with BD-ROM discs. The drive can also burn on DVD-R/+R at 8x, 6x on DVD-RW/+RW and 5x on DVD-RAM discs.
