I think more portable medical devices will be released in the near future. One of them is the MedEx 1000 portable ICU system. The device has been approved by the FDA and features an integrated ventilator with CO2&O2 monitoring, ECG, invasive pressure monitoring, non-invasive blood pressure monitoring, low and high rate infusion pumps with a fluid warmer among others.
