
InFocus today introduced a new series of short-throw projectors, the IN1500. Targeted towards small and medium-sized businesses, this lightweight and portable projector comes with a short throw lens that offers 20 percent optical zoom allowing for edge-of-table projection. It also provides a native resolution of up to WXGA, 3,000 lumens brightness, 1800:1 contrast ratio and several connectivity ports including DisplayLink, HDMI 1.3 and LitePort PC-free presenter. inFocus comes back with two new DLP projectors that will target the business market and professional A/V installers. The InFocus IN5300 and IN5500 projectors come with 1,024 x 768 and 1,280 x 800 native resolution, respectively. Contrast ratio stands at 2,300:1 meanwhile connectivity options include two VGAs, five BNC ports, two HDMIs, a component, S-video, and Composite. These projectors will be released during Summer 2009. You can enjoy watching HD movies with this InFocus IN80 high definition projector. It is equipped with Texas Instruments DLP DarkChip system with BrilliantColor, full 1080p processing, 2,500:1 native contrast ratio, 1,300 ANSI lumens of brightness an integrated Pixelworks DNX 10-bit video processing, and two HDMI inputs. InFocus has decided to release the IN5100 series projector next month. The projector provides native WXGA resolution (XGA on the 5102/5106), brightness from 4,000 to 5,000 lumens, 1,000:1 contrast ratio and dual stereo speakers. Looks as though Infocus will be launching their new IN83 projector later this month for about $6,000. The IN83 features a DarkChip4 DLP chip, 5,000:1 contrast ratio, 1,600 ANSI lumens, HDMI 1.3, Pixelworks DNX 10-bit video processing and 2.35:1 Cinemascope / widescreen aspect ratio support.
