
InFocus has begun shipping their newest DLP projector ‘IN5318′ in the US. This high-performance projector retails for $5,999. In case you didn’t know, the IN5318 delivers 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 4000 ANSI lumens brightness, 2000:1 contrast ratio and up to 2000 hours of lamp life in Eco mode. The InFocus IN5314 offers three lens choices (standard, a short throw, and a long throw), a 1280 x 800 native resolution, a 4000 lumens of brightness, and a 2000:1 of contrast ratio. The InFocus IN1100 projector series is the perfect mobile projector for your Mac, iPad or PC. Weighing at only 2.7lbs, the projector is equipped with either an XGA (1024 x 768) or a WXGA (1280 x 800) resolution for HD projection without scaling, up to 2200 lumens of brightness, HDMI, VGA, s-video and composite connections. The new Infocus IN146 is designed for small rooms providing a short-throw projection with a 1280 x 800 resolution without any HD upscaling required. The InFocus IN146 is capable of projecting a 60-inch image from just 2.5 feet or 0.7 meters from the projection surface. The projector has a long life lamp, providing up to 6,000-hour of use and a 2,700 lumens of brightness. Sadly, there is no info on pricing at this moment. [InFocus]

Aimed at both business and educational markets, the IN5122 and IN5124 are two of InFocus’ brand new 3LCD projectors for the mass market. Adopting the company’s latest 3LCD display technology, both of these projectors deliver 1024 x 768 native resolution (IN5122), 1280 x 800 native resolution (IN5124), 4000 ANSI lumens brightness, 2000:1 contrast ratio and provide up to 5000 hours of lamp life (in economy mode). They also come with 2x 8W stereo speakers and have USB, HDMI, BNC, composite, component, S-Video, D-Sub as well as Stereo Mini Jack connectors. InFocus today introduced a new series of short-throw projectors, the IN1500. Targeted towards small and medium-sized businesses, this lightweight and portable projector comes with a short throw lens that offers 20 percent optical zoom allowing for edge-of-table projection. It also provides a native resolution of up to WXGA, 3,000 lumens brightness, 1800:1 contrast ratio and several connectivity ports including DisplayLink, HDMI 1.3 and LitePort PC-free presenter. inFocus comes back with two new DLP projectors that will target the business market and professional A/V installers. The InFocus IN5300 and IN5500 projectors come with 1,024 x 768 and 1,280 x 800 native resolution, respectively. Contrast ratio stands at 2,300:1 meanwhile connectivity options include two VGAs, five BNC ports, two HDMIs, a component, S-video, and Composite. These projectors will be released during Summer 2009.
