IO-DATA has decided to released a Japan-only Mac TV. Dubbed as the GV-MACTV, the device is actually a digital TV tuner for Mac. The gadget connects to Mac via USB 2.0. IO Data will be releasing theDiXiM HVL4-G2.0 NAS for the new Regza ZH500s. It’s compliant with the latest DLNA / DTCP-IP standards to record TV shows with the network, space for four drives up to 2 TB in a RAID 5 array, for a space room of up to 1.5 TB, records on Toshiba’s TVs only as of right now, and can be found in Japan later this month for 111,615 or $1,090 US.
