Iodata AD197GEW 19-Inch Energy-Efficient LCD Monitor

Iodata is gearing up to release another energy-efficient monitor for the Japanese market. Dubbed as the AD197GEW, this new 19-inch LCD monitor supports a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels and features 5ms response time, 800:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 160/160 degrees viewing angle, 1W+1W stereo speakers, a DVI port and consumes no more than 17.7W of power, with maximum power rated at 26W. The Iodata AD197GEW will become available in Japan starting in March 2010 for unannounced price yet. [PCLaunches]

Iodata Releases HDC-U1.0LE 1TB External HDD In Japan

Iodata today announced the availability of its new 1TB external hard disk drive in Japan. The HDC-U1.0LE is expected to be available in December for $486.

IoData Mach USB Accelerates USB Download Speed

IoData Japan has a new utility called ‘Mach USB’ which can accelerate USB 2.0 download speeds by up to 27%. The software is compatible with IoData’s external hard drives and works with Windows systems only.
