
The new StorCenter ix2-200 NAS from Iomega features dual bays that can be set up in Raid 1 and supports a range of storage sizes including 1TB, 2TB and 4TB. The device has Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and supports for Windows Active Directory and Time Machine, remote access, iSCSI block-level access, and a QuikTransfer button for easy copying of selected files. The new StorCenter ix2-200 NAS is now available in the US and European markets. The 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB models are priced at $269.99, $369.99, and $699.99, respectively. Iomega, an EMC company and a global leader in data protection, today announced the worldwide availability of new generation of the exciting Iomega eGo portable hard drive. The device is currently available in four colors with up to 500GB capacity. The 500GB model retails for $135, meanwhile the 250GB is priced at $85. Iomega has unveiled two new hard drive models into its eGo portable line which is known as the Encrypt and the BlackBelt. The Encrypt features 128-bit Advanced Encryption Standard for added security and the BlackBelt features Drop Guard Xtreme data protection which helps keep your data secure even after experiencing an accidental drop. The 320GB Encrypt supports Windows 2000, XP and Vista and is available for $150, while the 250GB BlackBelt supports Mac OS X 10.1 or newer for $120. [Iomega]
