This new mini-ITX board is equipped with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom 330 dual-core CPU, a NVIDIA ION graphics processor, two DDR2 memory slots, a PCI-Express x16 slot for discrete graphics and 802.11n/g/b WiFi. Valore has recently released the first Ion based mini desktop that comes complete with a Blu-ray drive for the Japanese market. Dubbed as the Valore ION 330-DB, this mini PC integrates a 1.6GHz Intel Atom 330 processor, up to 4GB RAM and a 2.5-inch SATA HDD which is sold separately. Toshiba has announced the release of their super charge ion batteries aka SCiB. This lithium-ion based battery features charge-up time of a only 5 minutes, translating into a 90% capacity. It also has a life span of over 10 years according to Toshiba. While Energizer might be big out there, Toshiba is moving on up and can’t compare to those other mediocre brands out there.
