
Australia-based Gecko Gear has recently rolled out the Gecko Connect and Gecko Soundwire cables that are more minimalist compared to their predecessors. The Soundwire is available in 1-meter (3.5mm to 3.5mm minijack) and 1.2-meter (3.5mm to RCA stereo) for $12 and $15, respectively. Meanwhile, the Connect is a 1-meter Dock Connector to USB cable with an Apple-like small connector on the iPod or iPhone side. The Gecko Connect retails for $15. More

Logitech has recently released two iPod speakers, the Rechargeable Speaker S315i and Portable Speaker S125i. The S315i is a rechargeable speaker that provides you up to a full day’s worth of music on a single charge. You can also recharge your iPhone or iPod while it is docked. Meanwhile, the S125i is an easy-to-transport speaker dock. You can use it to play and charge any iPod model with the Apple Universal Dock Connector or connect other music players using the 3.5mm auxiliary input. iLuv will introduce the iLuv i9500 audio system at next month’s CES show. The device comes equipped with a docking post for Apple devices, MP3 and WMA file playback, and a 4 CD tray for your collection of audio CDs. As usual, any iPod or iPhone connected to the i9500 will be charged. It also has an SD memory card slot for you to store music on that format. You can now enjoy music from your iPod using a wireless headphones from Onkyo. The good news is that the headphones are cheap. Priced at around $200, the Onkyo MHP-UW2 uses the 2.4Ghz digital connection and comes equipped with a emitter that attaches to the iPod to broadcast music for up to 8 hours.
