Griffin Technology has announced that its Evolve Wireless Sound System is now available at Best Buy for $300. The system provides a base/charging station with integrated iPod Dock, wireless speakers with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries and a 150-foot range, line-in RCA jacks for alternate audio sources, and a RF remote control. The Evolve is also available at Griffin’s website for $349.

Altec Lansing was the first to have a speaker dock Zune. The inMotion iM414 speaker system features 3.2 watt speakers, 2-inch neodymium drivers, built-in FM radio, remote, and spare input jack for other audio equipment.It also charges your Zune as it plays, as well as battery storage. The Altec Lansing inMotion iM414 goes for about $100.

Meridian unveiled the iRIS universal dock for iPod which claims to pump out your stored videos in resolutions as high as 1080p via HDMI. This iPod dock adopts the Qdeo digital processing engine, which “empowers the Meridian iRIS to derive upscaled and upconverted video—including full-HD-format 1080-progressive mode—with unprecedented quality.” The iRIS universal dock for iPod will be released in November for $379.

iSpin from Sergio USA is a dual iPod-docking mixer with an included headset and the ability to modestly process two iPods’ music prior to outputting it to speakers. This iPod dock is probably more suited to a house party than a club. The iSpin won’t suit everyone because you can’t beat-match with it.
