JVC has unveiled its first iPod and iPhone nightstand speaker (model: N-BX3). Measuring 500mm x 300mm x 110mm, the N-BX3 provides a docking station for your iPod or iPhone, an FM tuner and a pair of 30W speakers with the SRS StudioSound HD. The iHome iD50 is a new app-enhanced alarm clock radio that supports Bluetooth for wireless audio streaming. The gadget features an AM/FM radio, a top-mounted docking station for iOS devices, dual 7/5/2 alarms, a speakerphone with built-in mic and SRS TruBass sound enhancement. Pioneer Japan today introduced the X-SMC2 and X-SMC5 compact network Hi-Fi with iPhone and iPod support. Both models comes with DLNA support via WiFi or Ethernet, allowing you to access internet radio via vTuner or any audio file stored on your network. The Pioneer X-SMC2 and X-SMC5 also provide a DVD player with a video out, iPhone/iPod dock, and DivX playback support. Panasonic has launched a trio of new iPhone/ iPod docking stations in Japan namely the SC-HC55, SC-HC35 and SC-HC05. All of these docking stations come with an FM radio and Bluetooth support. The Panasonic SC-HC55 is a high-end version that features a CD player and Bluetooth hands-free module with a total output of 2x40W, while the Panasonic SC-HC35 lacks of Bluetooth hands-free module.
