If you have a fetish for integrated docking methods for your iPod, this iSlim Shuffle charger from Monster is just perfect for you. The charger is about 3/4 the size of the Shuffle and it plugs into the player’s only 3.5mm jack to yield you syncing and charging powers through standard USB. At $14.95 this little guy won’t burn holes in your pocket, but keep it away from your girlfriend or you’ll end up buying two.

Apple has launched the iPod Reset Utility 1.0.2, which can be used to restore 1st and 2nd generation Apple iPod shuffles back to their original factory settings. This software is a free download from Apple’s support website and is available for Mac and PC. Warning: All music and data on the iPod will be erased during the restore process.

Corega Japan has offered the CG-IPSPDC02 docking station for Apple iPod Shuffle. It has built in speakers that deliver an output of 0.5W x 2 ch. With the USB terminal you connect it to a PC and transfer files to the Shuffle. Available in five colors to match the iPod Shuffle, the unit is powered by 2 x AA batteries. The Corega CG-IPSPDC02 measures 100mm × 22mm × 40mm and weighs 50 grams. It will be available later this month for approx. $30.

Princeton Japan has released the Cuby dock for second generation iPod Shuffle. Powered by 3 x AA batteries, the dock comes with stereo speakers delivering an output of 0.5 watts x 2Ch. The device connects with the Shuffle via the headphone output and to the PC via USB cable for transfer of files. The Princeton Cuby measures 49mm × 49mm × 59mm and weighs 95grams. The Cuby will be available next month in Japan for $33.

The case offers an integrated headphone cord winder, which allows users to easily adjust the cord length and store it away when not in use. It also features a leather knotted lariat and integrated earbud cradles designed to avoid tangling. The Orbino Genio Leather Case and Headphone System is now available for just $39.

Griffin Technology comes back with its new dock adapter for the second-generation iPod shuffle. Priced at $20, the adapter allows use of the shuffle in speaker systems and other devices with an Apple Universal iPod Dock. The device also offers a slider switch that toggles between Charge/Sync and Audio Play modes.

Computer Spectrum has introduced the Podolock, a new case/security product for the second-generation iPod shuffle. The Podolock comes with an acrylic case paired with a locking keyring, which makes it possible to “lock” your shuffle to a belt loop or purse while still having full access to the shuffle’s controls and ports. The gadget can also be used as a keychain. The Podolock for iPod shuffle retails for $20.

RadTech has rolled out three new accessories for the second-generation iPod shuffle, such as the Acclaro case, the ProCable, and the RetractCable. The Acclaro case boasts hard-shell construction that can bend without breaking. The case also allows access to the shuffle’s controls, audio port, and integrated clip and features small channels at either end of the case to help with cord management. The Acclaro case retails for $10.
The ProCable is a small charge and synchronize cable for the iPod shuffle. Measuring just six inches long and weighing 10 grams, the cable is now available in stores for $9. The RetractCable for iPod shuffle is another dock replacement cable that features a 31-inch charge and sync cable inside a compact retractable housing. The RetractCable sells for $10.
