
iRiver comes back with their new gadget. Known as the VR-1, it is actually a Linear PCM recorder that comes in a 2GB or a 4GB of storage space. The portable voice recorder has an FM tuner and is able to play MP3 files. The iRiver VR-1 provides optimum recording against a noisy background. No word yet on pricing or availability. [MovePlayer]

The guys over at MobileRead Forums has posted several leaked informations including picture of iRiver’s upcoming eBook reader called the Story. Although not yet officially announced, it’s said that the 6-inch reader will feature a full QWERTY keyboard, a memory card slot (up to 32GB), a comic book viewer and support for PDF, epub, txt, ppt, xls and other popular book formats without requiring their conversion. The iRiver Story eBook Reader will likely go on sale starting on September 16th for around $300. [SlashGear]

iRiver has finally introduced its iRiver E200 PMP. The gadget comes jam packed with a 2.8-inch OLED display and supports FLAC, RMVB and Xvid file formats. Here are two leaked pictures of the upcoming iRiver E200 that has a similar design with its E100 predecessor, despite a new thinner, all-metal design, and a larger screen. The E200 comes with a 2.8-inch display OLED screen with a 4GB or 8GB storage space that can be upgradable via a MicroSD card slot. Famous PMP manufacturer iRiver has released a new Bluetooth headset. Dubbed as the A100, the device supports Bluetooth Profile 2.0 connectivity with a maximum working range of 33 feet. No word on pricing so far. Stay tuned for more info. [dapreview]

iRiver has launched its palm-sized electronic dictionary in South Korea. Dubbed as the Dicple D7, the gadget supports a 3-inch touchscreen LCD that supports handwriting recognition, video playback at 30fps, SRS WOW HD sound driver, an FM radio, a Flash player, a PDF viewer, a text/photo viewer, a recording function and a micro SD card slot. This electronic dictionary also features Encyclopaedia Britannica and 24 different kinds of dictionary with authentic native-speaker voice. The 4GB and 8GB models are priced at 268,000 Won and 308,000 Won, respectively. [AVING]

iRiver has recently upgraded its P35 PMP with a huge 32GB of storage capacity. The player boasts a 4.3-inch WQVGA display and a microSD slot that supports up to 16GB cards. The Korean version also comes with an optional DMB digital TV tuner, which you can’t find in the US version. The touchscreen PMP is currently available in Korea for 488,000 Won ($389) and will be available in the US this Fall. No word on pricing of the US version. Stay tuned for more updates. The iRiver B30 Portable Media Player has been released. Available in white, black, or silver, the gadget has an FM tuner, a 2.8-inch QVGA display, a microSD expansion slot, a 4/8/16GB storage capacity, USB 2.0 connectivity, and a user-selectable equalizer. Its battery provides enough juice for 40-hours on audio playback or 5.5-hours with video playback. The 4GB, 8GB retail for $155, $183, respectively. iRiver P.ple P7 is the company’s latest 4.3-inch touchscreen PMP for the Korean Market that comes with a magazine-style layout for a GUI. The device supports most of video file formats including AVI, WMV, MP4, RM/RMVB, DAT/MPG, 3GP/K3G, FLV and more. Other interesting features include an FM radio, a photo/text viewer, a voice recorder, a microSD card slot and up to 35 hours of music playback.
