The latest iRiver MP3 player, the Volcano T7, is now available. The player comes with a simple design and features up to 4GB of storage capacity, a small OLED display, an FM radio, a voice recording function, SRS WOW, an equalizer (8 presets) and a USB 2.0 port. iRiver Japan will be released its D5 dictionary for the Japanese market on June 13th, 2008. This electronic dictionary features 2GB or 4GB of memory, 3 inch LCD Screen with 480×272 pixel resolution, MPEG-4 video and MP3 audio playback, FM radio, Voice recorder. Good news for gadget lovers in the UK because iRiver’s Spinn will be released in the UK in August 2008. Available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities, the gadget comes jam packed with a 3.2 inch AMOLED display at 480 x 272 resolution, DAB radio, Bluetooth connectivity, Adobe Flash video, and a 3D acceleration processor. The player is compatible with MP3, OGG, WMA, MPEG-4 and WMV file formats. Its built-in battery provides up to 25 hours for audio, five hours for video and four hours of digital radio listening. iRiver has finally decided to bring the D5 electronic dictionary to the US. It comes in either 2GB or 4GB versions going for $299.99 and $349.99. For all that you get a 3″ 480 x 272 TFT display, a 52-key QWERTY keyboard, several dictionaries including: Korean-English, English-English, Korean-Japanese, Korean-Chinese, support for MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG, AVI (MPEG-4 SP), JPG (3600 x 2400), GIFT (1024 x 768), BMP (1024 x 768) files formats, text viewer, FM radio, and voice recorder. The iRiver portable media player has finally hit Korea. The P10 comes with a 4.3″ LCD display at 800 x 480 resolution, 32GB internal memory, DMB support, support for PDF, Word and Excel files, English, Chinese and Japanese dictionaries, and WMV, MPEG video and audio support. There is a non-DMB and DMB versions available for €200 and €250. No word on when this baby if ever, will hit the States. [Akihabara]

Crave UK has discovered that there will be some changes to the iriver which include dropping that built-in speaker and redoing it in aluminum as well as a “much brighter” version of a screen. According to rumor, the E150 and E200 will be out sometime in the summer, but it’s not written in stone yet. [Engadget]

Here is good news for those who lived in the US and also for those who like Mickey Mouse. iRiver has planned to release its Mickey MP3 player in the US. The player retails for only $70 (1GB) and offers 9 hours of playback time. Unfortunately, this MP3 player “contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, or birth defects or other reproductive harm.” [Gizmodo]
