
iRiver has finally decided to bring the D5 electronic dictionary to the US. It comes in either 2GB or 4GB versions going for $299.99 and $349.99. For all that you get a 3″ 480 x 272 TFT display, a 52-key QWERTY keyboard, several dictionaries including: Korean-English, English-English, Korean-Japanese, Korean-Chinese, support for MP3, WMA, ASF, OGG, AVI (MPEG-4 SP), JPG (3600 x 2400), GIFT (1024 x 768), BMP (1024 x 768) files formats, text viewer, FM radio, and voice recorder. The iRiver portable media player has finally hit Korea. The P10 comes with a 4.3″ LCD display at 800 x 480 resolution, 32GB internal memory, DMB support, support for PDF, Word and Excel files, English, Chinese and Japanese dictionaries, and WMV, MPEG video and audio support. There is a non-DMB and DMB versions available for €200 and €250. No word on when this baby if ever, will hit the States. [Akihabara]

Crave UK has discovered that there will be some changes to the iriver which include dropping that built-in speaker and redoing it in aluminum as well as a “much brighter” version of a screen. According to rumor, the E150 and E200 will be out sometime in the summer, but it’s not written in stone yet. [Engadget]

Here is good news for those who lived in the US and also for those who like Mickey Mouse. iRiver has planned to release its Mickey MP3 player in the US. The player retails for only $70 (1GB) and offers 9 hours of playback time. Unfortunately, this MP3 player “contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer, or birth defects or other reproductive harm.” [Gizmodo]

The iRiver E100 portable media player comes jam packed with stereo speakers, an integrated FM radio, microSD memory card slot, D-Click system and a 2.4 inch TFT LCD screen. Available in Solid Black, White, Sky Blue, and Pink, the gadget offers 5 hour video playback and 17 hours of audio playback. Looks like Korea is getting another navigation device by iRiver called the NV Life. It has features such as mappy United map software, a WVGA resolution display, dual processors, DMB support, MP3 and video playback, rear camera input, and FMT function. There’s no word on the price of this handy navigation device, but most people would buy this for its sleek and stylish appearance. [UberGizmo]
