
Marubeni of Japan will be launching two new iPod docks: one made of American Walnut or Scandinavian Birch. Both feature a USB connection and two 1W speakers with a frequency response of 180Hz-20,000Hz, and are compatible both with IPod Classic and iPod Nano. Marshal of Japan has just released a dual SATA HDD rack. The rack supports 2.5†and 3.5†HDDs as well as USB 2.0, and gives you RAID 0 setting up to 2 TB. No word on the price, but when it becomes available, it will be at GeekStuff4u. [Akihabara]

JVC/Victor of Japan has released another model of speakers called the SX-M3. These speakers feature 3M:“Mâ€usic, “Mâ€agnesium, “Mâ€echanical Base Mount, a magnesium tweeter and medium, a frequency response of 50Hz – 65,000Hz, a sensitivity of 88dB, and a rating impedance of 6Ω. Elecom Egg mouse has just turned 20. To celebrate its 20th birthday they will be launching an updated version that come in 6 colors such as white, gray, blue, orange, black and pink in a glossy finish with buttons and a scroll wheel. Onkyo will be launching their new BASE-V20HD 2.1 theater system in Japan in 2 weeks. The BASE-V20HD has support for HDMI 1.3a and is compatible with TrueHD, DTS-HD, Dolby NR. No word on a price yet, but it shouldn’t be all that bad. [Akihabara]

Sanyo Japan will be releasing their new Katana LX phone. It comes with a clamshell design, GPS navigation, high-quality speakerphone, bluetooth, VGA camera, and a call screening feature. Clarion Japan has dropped 2 new PNS (Portable Navigation Systems) called the DTR-P50 and the DTR-P70. Both feature a 4.3†LCD, bluetooth, an SDHC port, 2GB of internal memory, support for both MP3 and WMA audio files and WMV and MPEG-4 files for video. One model also features support for 1Seg TV (recording and playing). Both models run on WinCe 5.0 with a 400MHz CPU. No word on pricing or whether or not both will hit the States. [Akihabara] More
