
JVC’s latest TH-BC3 and TH-BC1 soundbars adopt SRS StudioSound HD that processes up to 6.1 channels for playback over two speakers or headphones. The entry-level JVC TH-BC1 is a 60-watt (30 watts per channel) two-channel SRS StudioSound HD front surround soundbar with a built-in FM tuner, an analog input and two digital audio inputs (optical and coaxial), and a subwoofer pre-out. The high-end JVC TH-BC3 provides a push-open dock for iPod and iPhone, an HDMI 1.4 port, 3D Video ready pass through, ARC (Audio Return Channel), an FM tuner and a video output for both iPod and iPhone. The JVC TH-BC1 will be available in January 2011 for $149.95, while the JVC TH-BC3 will be released in February 2011 for $249.95. [Press Release]

JVC is gearing up to showcase their new THX 3D Certified projectors ‘DLA-X7′ and ‘DLA-X9′ at the upcoming CES 2011. Supporting both 2D and 3D images, both of these projectors are able to deliver 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1300 ANSI lumens brightness, 70,000:1 contrast ratio (DLA-X7), 100,000:1 contrast ratio (DLA-X9) and 16:9 native aspect ratio, and feature 2x HDMI connectors. The DLA-X7 and DLA-X9 are available now for $7,995 and $11,995, respectively. [JVC]

JVC Professional Products Company has introduced 10-megapixel DLA-SH7NLG (4,096 x 2,400) D-ILA projector at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Weighing at around 110 pounds (without the lens), this high-end projector provides a superb 5,000 ANSI Lumens, a 10,000:1 native contrast ratio and low-cost maintenance. Dual 330W ultra-high-pressure mercury lamps deliver 4,000 Lumens in a typical simulation application. In single lamp mode, the DLA-SH7NLG can automatically choose the lamp with less cumulative operating time for maintenance efficiency. The projector also incorporates three 1.27-inch 4K D-ILA display devices for high-quality imaging with a low latency mode for simulation environments. [AVING]

JVC has rolled out a couple of new D-ILA projectors in the form of the DLA-X7 and the DLA-X3. Both models feature a 1300 Lumens brightness, a Full HD resolution and two HDMI 1.4a ports. Priced at 840,000 Yen ($10,398), the JVC DLA-X7 has a 70,000:1 contrast ratio and produces a perfect color reproduction by covering 100% of Adobe RGB color palette. The JVC DLA-X3 comes with only a 50,000:1 contrast ratio. The JVC DLA-X7 and JVC DLA-X3 will be released in December 2010. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing for the JVC DLA-X3. JVC has unveiled its latest audio system namely the UX-J51. The compact stereo features touch-sensitive keys, blue LED back-lighting, an iPod/ iPhone dock, a CD player and an FM/AM radio. There is even a USB port, so you can connect the JVC UX-J51 High Performance Micro Audio System with an MP3 player or a PMP. For system expansion, the UX-J51 also includes a digital optical input and output, analog input and output, aux input, and a subwoofer preout. Additional features include a headphone jack, an FM/AM antenna jacks and banana speaker jacks. The JVC UX-J51 retails for $399.95 each. [Press Release]

JVC today introduced the DLA-VS2100U D-ILA projector at 2010 FSEMC in Brighton, U.K. It is actually the latest addition to JVC’s Visualization Series. The JVC DLA-VS2100U has a new optical engine that uses three D-ILA imagers to produce a 1920×1080 native resolution and a 20,000:1 native contrast ratio. The new projector also uses a 220W UHP lamp, delivering 1000 ANSI Lumens. Additional features include two HDMI ports, a VGA input, and an anti-smear reduction mode, which reduces image smearing during fast-motion scenes through frame insertion or black frame insertion without sacrificing light output. The new JVC-Victor “Kira-Kira” headphones are now available for pre-order at GeekStuff4U for 5,980 Yen ($69). Designed for women, the JVC HA-SP70 headphones come with a nice “Kira-Kira” design, where each earphones is covered with a “Crystal” or “Diamond”-shaped cover. JVC is ready to release the UX-FH5 compact stereo in August 2010. This mini stereo system boasts an FM radio, a CD player, a couple of 20W speakers, an iPhone/iPod dock and a video out for iPhone/ iPod. Japan Victor Company has unveiled a couple of canal style earphones namely the HP-FXC71 and HP-FXC51. These earphones feature a small-sized dynamic type “micro HD unit” that delivers the sound directly into the ear canal to reduce the reflection and improved voice clarity. The JVC HP-FXC71 and HP-FXC51 also uses a new carbon-fiber diaphragm and a stainless steel housing, which claim to provide a more dynamic low frequency. The JVC HP-FXC71 retails for 6,000 Yen ($65), while the JVC HP-FXC51 retails for 4,000 Yen ($44). Both earphones will be released in June 2010. [JVC Japan]
