
JVC is ready to release their latest home theater audio system in the Japanese market later this month. Measuring 1.2-inch thick, the AX-FT amplifier and SP-FT speakers are thin enough to be hung on a wall or stood up on its stand on a bookshelf. This ultra thin home theater combo produces 4x20W output power and supports both Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound formats. The JVC AX-FT amplifier retails for $270, while the SP-FT speaker system is priced at $224. [JVC]

The JVC SP-A130 sliding speaker delivers stereo output up to 160mW x 2ch. Measuring 30mm wide, its case comes with a sliding mechanism which protects the speaker from dust. The JVC SP-A130 requires four AA batteries (not included) that provide enough juice for up to 16-hours of continuous usage. Available in red, yellow, pink, and white, the JVC SP-A130 sliding speaker will be launched next month in Japan for 3000 Yen ($33). [JVC Japan]

JVC today announced two new soundbars at CEDIA 2009. The TH-BA1 and TH-SB100 are actually the same unit, the latter just comes paired with a JVC Blu-ray player for a more comprehensive package. Both soundbars feature four individually housed 3 3/16-inch speakers, an amplifier and a sound processor with 220 watts of total system power. They support Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II and DTS decoding. The subwoofer features a 6 5/6-inch driver and is powered by an internal 100-watt digital amplifier. JVC utilities the 2.4GHz digital wireless band to connect the subwoofer to the soundbar sans wires. Each purchase comes with a remote to handle power, volume adjustment, source selection and surround mode selection. First introduced back in June, the JVC LT-32WX50 32-Inch LED Backlight TV is finally making its way to US markets in November. In case you’ve forgotten, this super-slim LCD display measures only 7.7mm thin and weighs just 5.7kg. The set has a contrast ratio of 4,000:1 together with 100 percent of sRGB and 90 percent of Adobe RGB color space. It also comes with several connectivity ports including two HDMI, one analog DSUB and one RS-232C. No details on pricing yet, but it should be available for under $3,000. [SlashGear]

Japanese manufacturer JVC has recently released two high quality headphones namely the HP-S560 (10Hz to 25kHz) and the HP-S360 (10Hz to 24kHz). Both headphones adopt a newly developed “Dual Protection Structure” on its driver unit in order to suppress any unnecessary resonances. The HP-S560 and the HP-S360 also feature a 32 Ohm impedance with an 112dB/1mw output. These headphones will be available in September 2009 in Japan. [Akihabara]

JVC today showed off the new 32-inch LT-32WX50 LED backlight TV at the CEDIA expo, It has a contrast ratio of 4,000:1 and 90% Adobe RGB color space. Measuring at only 7mm thin, this 32-inch also comes with two HDMI inputs, a PC input, an USB port and an SD memory card slot. JVC has released the UX-LP5 iPod Friendly Compact Hi-Fi that features a retractable front flip dock for iPods. This iPod boombox features a video output so you can playback iPod-stored video on a connected television, a front audio input for connecting other audio products, CD playback, and an AM/FM tuner.
