If you have a massive collection of CDs, DVDs, and Blu-Ray discs, then you might need the Kaleidescape M700 Disc Vault. It is a movie server that swallows your discs into a precision carousel, copies the content onto the Kaleidescape System. Up to 320 discs can be loaded into the vault making it easy to add great content to your library. After the M700 is finished copying, you can eject the CDs and DVDs from the vault to store elsewhere or leave them inside. Their digital copies can be played back even with the original discs removed. But for Blu-Ray discs, you must store these discs inside the M700 in order to playback the content. The Kaleidescape M700 Disc Vault has a front display panel that indicates the import progress, number of discs stored, and the number of available slots. The M700 Disc Vault retails for $5,995 and when paired with a 1U Server for a complete Blu-Ray movie server, it will cost you $15,990. [Product Page]

Do you still remember the Kaleidescape M500 and M300 Blu-ray players that we posted in May 2010? The company is back with a new device called the Modular Disc Vault that works with either the M500 or M300, allowing you to store your favorite Blu-ray films for instant playback. You can enjoy a Blu-ray movie, without touching a disc, from any M-Class player while its disc remains safely in the vault. The Modular Disc Vault holds 100 Blu-ray discs and connects to the Blu-ray player via a USB cable. The system automates the entire importing process and has a front slot for the discs. The Kaleidescape 100 Modular Disk Vault is now available for $1,495 in the United States and Canada, while the M500 and M300 Blu-ray player are priced at $3,995 and $2,495, respectively. Kaleidescape today introduced its new M500 and M300 Blu-ray players which are built on the company’s proprietary M-Class architecture to deliver a new and improved onscreen user interface and Blu-ray support. The M300 is an ordinary Blu-ray player that comes with a price tag of $2,495. Meanwhile, the M500 features the unique ability to copy Blu-rays, DVDs and CDs onto your home server. The imported content can then be played back instantly by M300 and M500 players, creating the world’s first multi-zone movie server for Blu-ray. The M500 retails for $3,995. Both Blu-ray players will be released in May 18th, 2010. [Press Release]
