
Korea will be launching a new UMPC from WIBrain called the B1L. It features a Ubuntu Linux system with a 1GHz CPU and a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution 4.8-inch LCD display and an option for Windows XP installation. Viliv has designed the new X5 AIO portable media player by YuKyung Technologies for the Korean market.The device features wireless internet using an exclusive browser, video player for various formats, Flash Lite 3.0, T-DMB, mp3 player, video playback, navigation function, and T-DMB. The AIO runs on an Alchemy Au1250 processor and has a 4.8-inch WVGA LCD touch screen and jog wheel. The Viliv X5 AIO PMP will be available in 30GB and 60GB capacities with 6 hours of playback time. TG Sambo of Korea has released their new Dreamsys EMWB desktop computer which comes with a 45nm Core 2 Duo Penryn processor and a point black color with a art nouveau pattern on the front panel, and a 500GB hard disk. The TG Sambo Dreamsys will hit the Korean market fairly soon for a retail price of $1,319. [AVING]

LG will be releasing a new AMOLED called the LGSH150A. It features DMB connectivity, an integrated multimedia player and a 2 megapixel camera along with support up to 7.2Mbps for the HSDPA. This phone is only available in Korea for $475. [AVING via Upcoming Cell Phones]

Samsung will present the XL24 and XL30 LCD TV’s in Korea that both feature LED backlight technology. The 24-inch version is going for $3,089 and the bigger one is $5,885. [Akihabara]

Seagate has announced that they will be dropping their new Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini 250GB HDD in Korea. It features automated backup, Maxtor’s safety drill, sync, data encryption, drive pass, manager UI, and auto software updater. The OneTouch runs on Windows vista and has USB 2.0 connectivity, as well as a 5-year warranty and is BUS powered. $207

Ssangyong motors of Korea will release its sedan, the Chairman W. The Chairman W features a V8 5,000cc engine and an automatic 7 speed transmission. It should drop mid March.

Samsung will be releasing an awesome Bora style phone called the SCH-W350. The SCH-W350 will feature a rotating screen, is HSDPA up to 7.2Mbps, a 3Mpix Camera module, a DMB Digital TV tuner, bluetooth, and microSD. Unfor Unfortunately this baby will only be available in Korea.

Samsung has announced that they launched a new full HD/LCD TV called the PAVV Bordeaux 550 in Korea. It comes in both a 40-inch and 46-inch models that support 30,000:1 contrast ratio along with thelatest technologies including an advanced black panel, Speed Backlight, DNIe+ which is an upgraded Digital Natural Image engine and Wide Color ControlPro.Other features include:a 2.2 channel sound with two woofers and three entertainment modes:sports, movie and game. Samsung wants around $2500-$4200 for the models and should be released the 1st quarter in the global market. Note: Hot Korean girl not included.
