Alphascan just launched its 22-inch LCD monitor ‘Prestige(model: J2250W/J2252D/ J2252HC) which supports 4,000:1 contrast ratio in Korea.The J2252HC features glare panel, a HDMI port and HDCP(High bandwidth Digital Content Protection).

Digitalcube is launching its multimedia electronic dictionary ‘i-station UDIC’ in Korea. It supports the content of 50 different kinds of dictionary and multi-search engine. Other features include: a 4.3-inch swiveling LCD touch screen and a full qwerty keyboard,support for TTS(Text to Speech), native speakers’ pronunciation and translating service ‘i-TRANS’ as well as movie captioning service ‘Video DIC’, 30G/60G hard, and powered by an Alchemy AU 1250 CPU and DVE(Dynamic Video Engine). No word on pricing or availability.
Korea has just released a cute mini-ITX computer from Ripple. It’s powered by an Intel Celeron M215 (1.33GHz, 512KB) with a D201 GLY Intel motherboard, 1GB of RAM, SiS 662 North Bridge and SiS 964L South Bridge. $131
Korean company, Iubi, has released their H80 PMP in the Korea market. It is basically a Bluetooth PMP and an e-dictionary powered by the famous DaVinci chip. It comes in green, orange and silver and 30GB and 60GB capacities for $385 and $438.
Korea has just received the new Iriver D5 e-dictionary. It features specs like 2 or 4 GB storage capacities with some basic multimedia features and comes in white only. Don’t get this baby mistaken for a Macbook though! More pics after the break.
Korea is getting a dose of orange with the new LG Z6M slider my Motorola. It comes with 3.5mm ear jack, 2M camera, e-book, file viewer, memory card slot and alot more. Pricing is still unknown, but that and availability should be available soon.
Kojinsha has released their UMPC L/V series in the Korea market. The L series has a couple new features such as resolution(1024×600) and better keyboard and the V series has GPS and built-in 7mm ODD. Both should be available in Korea Mid-January.

Korea has dropped another UMPC from Raon. It features a AMD LX900 processor, 60GB HDD, and a bulit-in Wibro module. It’s not available exclusively in Korea for $849.

SKY, a famous brand in Korea, has dropped their IM-S3000 Romantic Wave Slimphone. It has spec such as its a wave-shape design and light violet LED lighting for the keypad. Among other features such as: 1.3M camera, file viewer, electronic dictionary, 2.2-inch screen, and multi-task function, black or white finishes, and a price range between $400-$500.
LG Korea has announced the arrival a very bright phone called the Orange Phone. It comes with a orange colored keypad, 3G WCDMA automatic roaming service, MP3 playback, text viewer, camera and electronic dictionary function, multitasking button, SMS service, telephone directory, and alarm setting. Keep in mind, that these cute girls are not included, although that would be a great bonus.
