
LaCie has released the first 1U rack-mounted NAS that offers a huge 6TB of storage space. The new NAS is being targeted toward small and medium-sized businesses. The company also announced that the LaCie 6TB 1U is first Apple Time Machine-compatible professional NAS on the market and will be accompanied by both Genie and Intego Backup Manager Pro to schedule file backup and computer recovery. LaCie has unveiled its latest USB flash drive that looks like a coin. Available in bronze and silver colors, the LaCie CurrenKey is a USB 2.0 flash drive that is constructed out of metal. Here a good solution for people who love video streaming as well as different files formats. The LaCinema can double up as a USB 2.0 external hard drive and has AV options including composite, S-video and component video, analog stereo, and optical and coaxial surround-capable digital jacks. The LaCinema Premier is available in 500GB, 750GB and 1TB capacities going for $250, $350 and $500. Not a bad deal at all.

The 1080p 16:10 display supports 92 percent NTSC gamut, 10-bit gamma correction and embedded Faroudja DCDi and TrueLife tech. It comes with Plugs such as: VGA, DVI and dual HDMI, with HDCP support for watching some HD movies after a long day. There are also three USB 2.0 ports and a headphone jack, and LaCie has dropped in the blue eye pro for automatic hardware color correction. This monitor should arrive sometime in January for $1050.
