Lenovo has introduced the successor to its ThinkPad T400 notebook series in the form of the ThinkPad T400s. This new business laptop measures only 0.83-inches thick and features a 14.1-inch WXGA LED LCD, a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SP9400 processor, an Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics card, a 2GB RAM, a 120GB Low Halogen HDD, a 2MP webcam, a multi-touch pad, an optional DVD burner or Blu-ray player, an ExpressCard slot, Windows Vista Business OS and a 6-cell battery. Toshiba will be releasing a new laptop called the G55 next month for $1,550. The G55 features an 18.4-inch (1680 x 945) display, Centrino 2 CPU, GeForce 9600M GT, 4GB of RAM, dual drives, and the “Quad Core HD processor†powering many media functions including the camera-based visual gesture control system.
