Taiwan just reported that the Intel Shelton ultra-mobile PC that should be dropping sometime this quarter. The parts and equipment is said to be so cheap to produce that the system should be around $100-$300.

IRiver is developing their Ebook concept. It’s great because it not only is a notebook laptop, but it’s literally a notebook that allows hand-written notes. Unfortunately there’s no further info on this concept.

Seen at the CES, Asus has dropped another stylish UMPC. It’s called the R50A and comes with specs like a integrated GPS with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and has a 1 GB memory, 5.6-in touch screen with a 1024×600 resolution. Price, additional specs, and release dates are unavailable.

This notebook in particular has features that stand out like 15.4-inch screen, a WSXGA resolution and a built-in 1.3 Megapixel Swivel Webcam, 3 models: a high-end model, Asus M51SN with Intel processors Penryn, and two cheaper models, Asus M51Sr and M51Se, along with a Nvidia GeForce 9500M GS video card and an Intel CPU Penryn processor.
