Asus has created the 1st terabyte laptop at the CES. The Travelstar 5K500 laptop is a combo of the Asus M series multimedia notebook’s. So far there is no detailed specs, prices, or even release dates yet. Stay tuned for more updates.

Check out the video of the Dell XPS conecpt. It isn’t the best laptop to drag around and lacks a 16:9 panel, instead it has a 16:10 which isn’t all that great. Be glad this is just a concept!
Talk about cheap laptops! Everex, has announced the newest member of their UMPC family. The CE1200V UMPC comes with basic features and more that most other laptops might not have. Specs include a 1.2GHz Via C7-M ULV mobile processor, 512MB of DDR2 533MHz memory, a 7-inch WVGA TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 480, VIA UniChrome Pro IGP graphics, VIA High-Definition Audio, and WiFi in its 802.11b and g flavors. Other features include a touchpad, 2 USB 2.0 ports, a DVI port, 4-in-1 media card reader, headphone/microphone ports, and a set of built-in stereo speakers. It runs off a 4-cell L-ion battery and has 5 hours of battery life. Get yours January 25th for $399 at Walmart.

Acer has announced the release of their all new Panoramic laptop called the 7720 gemstone laptop. It has awesome features like a Core 2 Duo Processor T5450 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 250GB hard drive, and NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS graphics, and of course Gemstone design.

Japan has just released a new notebook by Mouse Computer called the P551 M-Book. It comes with features like a Core 2 Duo T8100 or T9300, 120/160GB HDD (SATA), GeForce 8600M GS and a 15.4 inches LCD monitor (WXGA). $1,283-$1,465. Oh and last but not least, it’s Penryn-Powered.

Fujitsu wants to wrap your life in luxury with the new Lifebook P8000. It features essentials like an embedded webcam and a 12″ screen, and 6.5 hours of battery life working on Vista. It is then topped off with a black glossy finish, thin lid along with a backlight LED display. The Fujitsu Lifebook P8000 will be available first week of February for $1750.
