HP Compaq today unveiled their latest 15.6 laptop that is aimed at first PC buyers or users who do basic computing tasks like web, music, email and watching DVD. HP has collaborated with rapper Dr Dre to release a limited edition HP Envy 15 Beats. The laptop will feature a Beats sound system and a piano black high gloss finish, and a signature Beats design. The 15.4-inch laptop is powered by a 1.6-GHz Core i7 processor with a powerful nVidia GeForce GTS 250M graphics card, a 2.0 webcam, a Blu-ray drive, a 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 500GB HDD, two HD speakers, and Windows 7 Home Premium. Using this hardware configurations, latest PC games will run smoothly. Additional features include a DVD burner, a VGA webcam, HDMI and VGA outputs, and 802.11b/g/n WiFi connectivity. Asus claims that the UL50 will provide up to 11-hours of battery life.
