Here is a video of Boeing’s high-tech YAL-1 Airborne Laser (ABL) weapons system that consists of a high energy laser, flight turret assembly, tracker Illuminator lasers, and a beacon illuminator. The weapon system uses infrared sensors to detect missiles, and then three low power tracking lasers calculate speed of the missile, and finally the main laser is fired for 3-5 seconds from a front-mounted turret to destroy the missile. Panasonic BM-ET200 is a new eye scanner that boasts voice activation while identifying a user in just 0.3 seconds. Priced at approximately below $2,500 when released in the US next year, the device can handle more than 10,000 user records. The device fires a harmful laser into the eye while the user aligns the eye with the camera by directly focusing on a green light.
