
Taiwanese company IDTI (Integrated Digital Technologies) has showed off the latest 21.5-inch Full HD touch-screen display during CeBIT 2010. The display has an HDMI/D-Sub input and supports Microsoft Windows 7 OS. The IDTI 21.5-inch Full HD touchscreen display is priced at just $300 a pop. Acer has rolled out its GD235HZ 23.6-inch 1080p LCD display. This 3D-ready LCD display needs a compatible nVidia graphics card with an nVidia’s 3D Vision active shutter glasses, which is not bundled together with the display. Eizo Japan today introduced a new member from the ColorEdge LCD display series. The ColorEdge CG303W is a 29.8-inch LCD screen that produces an impressive WQXGA resolution of 2560 a 1600 with 178 degrees of viewing angle. Measuring 689mm x 254.7mm x 629.5mm and weighing 16.1Kg, this monitor also provides a 260 cd/m2 brightness level, an 850:1 of contrast ratio and a 12ms of response time. Additional features include two DVI-D ports, two USB 2.0 ports and a coverage rate of 98% of Adobe RGB. Good news for folks who are living in Japan because Asus has announced the availability of its Asus MS236H 23-inch LCD display in that country. The Asus MS236H (Designo MS) provides a Full HD resolution (1920×1080) with a 250 cd/m2 brightness level, a 2ms response time, and a 50000:1 active contrast ratio. This 23-inch LCD screen also supports HDMI and DVI-HDCP. Folks in Japan can purchase the Asus MS236H for 28800 Yen or around $321. [gdgt]

South Korea’s LG Electronics has confirmed that they will launch a 15-inch television set using organic display technology next month, the largest commercial model so far. This active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AM-OLED) display provides better picture quality and consumes less power. It is also thinner than widely used liquid crystal displays (LCD) that need backlight units. Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing so far. [Reuters]

Philips has rolled out its new LCD display with a built-in infrared presence sensor. Known as the Philips Brilliance, the LCD monitor adopts “PowerSensor” technology, which can detect whether you’re sat in front of it or not and adjust brightness accordingly. If you get up from your chair and move away from the monitor, the brightness will immediately dim to reduce power consumption by 50%. You can also configure the sensor’s sensitivity The sensor is able to detect between 30cm and 120cm from the screen. Acer today launched two desktops and one LCD display. The new Aspire M5800 tower comes jam packed with a 2.66GHz Core 2 Quad CPU with a 8GB of RAM, a 1.5GB GeForce GT230 graphics, a 740GB drive and a HDMI out for $800. Meanwhile, the Aspire M3800 and X3810 feature a 2.5GHz Pentium with an integrated X4500 graphics and a HDMI out. The Aspire M3800 and X3810 retails for $450 in a tower or $529 in a low-profile case. Acer also released the 23-inch H235H LCD display, which offers a 1080p resolution, a 2ms response time, a 160-degree viewing angle, and a 100,000:1 contrast ratio for $239. Read more

LG has plan to release its first 3D LCD, the 47-inch 47LH50, in South Korea next month. The 3D LCD allows you to enjoy 3D effects without the need of PC with additional 3D video cards. You just need to wear the polarized light eye-glasses. No word on pricing so far. [Gizmodo]

The LG will release the LED Blu display that was debuted at CES 2009. Measuring at only 20mm thin, this 24-inch LED backlight LCD monitor will come with Full HD support at 1,920 x 1,080 resolution, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and a fast 2ms response time.
