Acer has once again expanded its LCD Monitor line-up by announcing the 20-inch HX2000 and 23-inch FHX2300 (Full HD Monitor). The HX2000 supports a native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels and features 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. While the FHX2300 offers a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and features 40,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and an HDMI port. NEC is about to launch another eco-friendly LCD monitor aimed specifically at business environments, government applications and education users. Dubbed as the MultiSync EA190M, this new 19-inch LCD monitor is an energy efficient display, reducing power consumption by almost 50% compared to traditional LCD monitors. It provides a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels with standard 5:4 aspect ratio, 5ms response time, 900:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, a one-touch ECO mode and five visual presets (standard, text, movie, photo, game). This new 19-inch LCD monitor is an energy efficient display, reducing power consumption by almost 35.9% compared to regular panels. As for the specs itself, the monitor supports a native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels, 5ms response time, 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, two 1W speakers and D-Sub as well as DVI connectivities. Dubbed as the Samsung 2494HS, the LCD screen features 23.6 inch of viewing space and offers native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080, 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, stereo speakers, HDMI input, DVI and VGA connectivity, 5ms pixel response time and 300cd/m2 brightness level.
