LG will launch the M2380D-PM LCD monitor in Japan. The 23-inch LCD display comes with a full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution, a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 250cd/m2 brightness, a 5ms response time and a 170/160 degree viewing angles. TVLogic has recently exhibited the LUM-560W 56-inch Quad HD 4K LCD monitor at the NAB 2010. Based on a 10-bit 1.07 million color LCD panel, the LUM-560W provides 4K (3840 x 2160) quad-HD resolution and adopts the TVLogic Color Calibration Utility for proper color alignment. Acer has once again expanded its LCD Monitor line-up by announcing the 20-inch HX2000 and 23-inch FHX2300 (Full HD Monitor). The HX2000 supports a native resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels and features 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. While the FHX2300 offers a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and features 40,000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and an HDMI port. Dubbed as the MultiSync EA190M, this new 19-inch LCD monitor is an energy efficient display, reducing power consumption by almost 50% compared to traditional LCD monitors.
