The NEC EA261WM LCD monitor is a 26 inch screen that offers WUXGA resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 400 cd/m2 brightness level, 5ms response time, 92% color gamut, 4-port USB hub, 4-way adjustable stand and on-screen display controls. Asus comes back with the world slimmest 22 Inch widescreen LCD display. The Asus LS221H LCD features a 9H-hardness glass panel for scratch resistant protection. The screen provides 1680×1050 WSXGA+ resolution, 2ms response time(gray-to-gray), ASCR (ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio) 4000:1

Hyundai has recently introduced a new 3D LCD display that adopts TriDef technology. The Hyundai W220S is a 22 inch monitor also doubles up as a normal 2D display. But if you wear polarized glasses, the 3D images can be viewed. Priced at around €590, the monitor offers WSXGA+ resolution (1,680 x 1,050), Brightness level of 300cd/m², Contrast ratio of 1,000:1, Response time of 5ms, HDMI/DVI-D interface and a couple of 3 watts integrated speakers. Eizo thought of the gamers when they made the new FlexScan HD2452W monitor. It has a full WUXGA resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 450Cd/m2 brightness, and two HDMI ports, a 24p mode with a response rate of 16 ms. The FlexScan will hit Japan sometime next month for $1,250. [BIOS]

Hannspree has dropped some 19-inch LCD monitors called the XM-Ball Series in Korea. They feature a soccer ball, basketball and baseball-shaped frames made from real leather. All three have support for 1280 x 1024 resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 3ms response speed and HDMI port. No word on pricing or availability just yet. [AVING]

Japan will be selling 2 new LCD monitors by Hitachi called the 19LM-W1 (19†WXGA+) and the 17LM-1 (17†SXGA) which feature HDMI input, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 for the 19†and 800:1 for the 17, and a brightness of 300 cdm/2. No word on when these will release exactly or even the prices.

The 22 inches LW-2200AHU offers a 1680×1050 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness level, and 5ms response time. Samsung is ready to release its new 24-inch wide monitor in Japan. The SyncMaster 245T features 1,920 x 1,200(WUXGA) resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 6ms response time. The LCD screen is expected to be available in early December. Pricing info is still unavailable.
