Japan will be selling 2 new LCD monitors by Hitachi called the 19LM-W1 (19” WXGA+) and the 17LM-1 (17” SXGA) which feature HDMI input, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 for the 19” and 800:1 for the 17, and a brightness of 300 cdm/2. No word on when these will release exactly or even the prices.

Byd:Sign comes back with two new HDTVs featuring HDMI and 1080p support. The 22 inches LW-2200AHU offers a 1680×1050 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness level, and 5ms response time. Meanwhile, the 26 inches LW-2600AHU boasts the standard 1366×768 HD Ready resolution, 800:1 contrast ratio, 400cd/m2 brightness level, and 8ms response time.

Samsung is ready to release its new 24-inch wide monitor in Japan. The SyncMaster 245T features 1,920 x 1,200(WUXGA) resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 6ms response time. The LCD screen is expected to be available in early December. Pricing info is still unavailable.

Eizo comes back with a new 24-inch Flexscan SX2461W-U monitor for the colorblinds. The screen adopts the CUD (Color Universal Design) technology which uses shapes, positions, and patterns to communicate color information back to the user. The monitor is capable of 92% color reproduction on a 1,920 x 1200 panel with 850:1 contrast and 300cd/m2 brightness level. The Flexscan SX2461W-U monitor provides two HDCP-enabled DVI jacks and two USB 2.0 ports. It is available in Japan starting December 6 for about $1,047.

Alphascan unveiled its new Prestige J2250D LCD monitor in Korea. The LCD screen is designed with a glossy black finish and slim bezel. It sports 2000:1 of contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 1680 x 1050 resolution and 300 cd/m² brightness level. The LCD also offers 15 pin D-sub connector and DVI port.

iiyama has released three new LCD screens that come equipped with touchscreen panels. Priced at $678, the 15-inch T1530SR has 1024 x 768 resolution, 16ms response time, 500:1 contrast ratio, and 280 cd/m2 of brightness level. The 17-inch T1730SR and 19-inch T1930SR retail for $719 and $822, respectively. These LCD screens comes with 1280 x 1024 resolution, 800:1 contrast, 5ms response time, and 240cd/m2 brightness.

BenQ released G2400W 24-inch monitor in the Korean market. Designed for gamers, the screen offers full 1080p resolution, HDMI port and BenQ’s Senseye+photo technology. Dell has decided to launch the E248WFP 24-inch Widescreen Flat Panel Monitor in the US market. The LCD screen offers “higher definition than HD Television” and comes equipped with an integrated DVI-D with HDCP connection. The monitor has 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, a fast 5ms response time, 160 degrees viewing angle, and 400 cd/m2 brightness. It also provides 92% color gamut. FYI, color gamut refers to how many colors the display can accurately represent. The Dell E248WFP is now available for $469.
