Samsung rolled out three new SyncMaster LCD displays with multimedia capabilities. The 19-inch 920BM and 22-inch 920WM and 2220WM widescreen LCD monitors features built-in speakers and proprietary Magic technologies for enhanced performance and image quality. The 920WM offers resolution of 1440 x 900 and a contrast ratio of 700:1, while the 2220WM has 1680 x 1050 resolution and a higher contrast ratio of 1000:1. The 19-inch 920BM monitor is a low-end display with a resolution of just 1280 x 1024, 300cd/m² brightness, and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The Samsung SyncMaster 920BM retails for $250, while the 920WM for $220, and the 2220WM is priced at $350.

LG has recently released a high-end widescreen monitor with built-in digital TV Tuner. This stylish 22-inch LCD offers 1,680 x 1,050 WSXGA+ resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 170 degrees viewing angle, and HDMI port. The monitor will be available in the UK next month.

The Samsung 245T LCD screen provides a 1920×1200 resolution full HD resolution, HDMI port, picture-in-picture (PIP) feature and on-board video processor. Other specs include a 6ms response-time and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. The monitor is priced at $1200.

Samsung announced that the Samsung 940UX is now available in the States for $379. The screen is also known as the World’s first LCD monitor with USB connectivity. This new LCD screen works with both Macs and Windows PCs.

Mitsubishi introduced their new 52-inch slim LCD TV ‘REAL’ at the CEATEC 2007 in Japan. The LCD TV offers 29.5mm-thick bezel and 15mm-thick sound projector speaker. The 46-inch and 40-inch models adopt 26.6mm-thick bezel and 25.2mm-thick bezel respectively. See more pics after the break.

Samsung’s new LN-T4665F LCD TV adopts an innovative S-PVA (Super Patterned Vertical Alignment) solution that provides clear images and a 178° wide-viewing angle. The TV also features an 8ms response time, dynamic contrast that automatically adjusts the backlight intensity, and a couple of HDMI connections to connect it to your high definition DVD player or digital cable/satellite. There is no word on pricing or availability yet.

Hitachi Ltd. has developed a 47-inch LCD screen with a contrast ratio of 8,000,000:1. The monitors adopt Hitachi’s hybrid monitor technology, combining an LCD panel and an LCD projector. It uses a projector as a backlight system. The 8,000,000:1 contrast was achieved because of the multiplication of the LCD panel’s and projector’s contrast ratios.
