
BenQ has collaborated with Zowie Gear and Counter-Strike legends to introduce a couple of new gaming monitors namely the XL2420T and XL2420TX. These high-performance gaming monitors feature the Black eQualizer technology that enables gamers to increase the brightness level of the image display without over-exposing white levels. Other important specs include S Switch, FPS Mode, Display Mode, Smart Scaling, a 2ms refresh rate, and a 12 million:1 dynamic contrast ratio. [BenQ]

BenQ is set to drop a new business-oriented LCD monitor ‘BL2201PTE’ for the mass market. Featuring a TN panel, this new 22-inch LED-backlight monitor delivers 1680 x 1050 native resolution, 12,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. AOC Europe has introduced two new monitors namely the 22-inch e2219Ph and 24-inch e2436Pa. Designed for business users, both WLED monitors feature a 5ms response time, a dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000,000:1, a power consumption of about 30W, a static contrast ratio of 1,000:1, D-Sub and DVI video inputs. The AOC e2436Pa is a high-end version that offers a native resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels and an HDMI input. The AOC e2219Ph only has a 1,680 x 1,050 pixels resolution. As part of the Diamondcrysta WIDE series, this new 21.5-inch LED-backlight monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and provides 1000:1 contrast ratio, 240 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 160/160 degree viewing angles. NEC is about to unleash another LCD monitor ‘MultiSync LCD-P241W’ into the market. Designed for professionals, this new 24.1-inch widescreen monitor makes use of an IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel and provides 1920 x 1200 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 360 cd/m2 brightness and 15ms response time. It also comes with a number of connectivity ports including dual DVI-D, mini D-Sub and DisplayPort. The MultiSync LCD-P241W will start shipping from November 9th for around 65,000 Yen (about $850). I-O Data is preparing to launch another LCD monitor ‘LCD-DTV194XBR’ for the Japanese market. This new 18.5-inch LED-backlight monitor delivers 1366 x 768 native resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time, and provides 170/160 degree viewing angles. Not to mention, the monitor also comes with a built-in digital TV tuner, two 3W stereo speakers, a mini D-Sub port and HDMI port.
