BenQ has come out with another LCD monitor ‘G615HDPL’ for the Japanese market. This new 15.6-inch LED-backlight monitor provides 1366 x 768 native resolution, 500:1 contrast ratio (DCR 1,000,000:1), 200 cd/m2 brightness, 8ms response time and consumes just 7W during normal operation (5W Eco Mode). In terms of connectivity ports, it only has a mini D-Sub 15 pin. The G615HDPL retails for around 12,000 Yen (about $146). [BenQ]

HP x2301 Ultra-thin LCD Monitor

HP today introduced an ultra-thin LCD monitor that measures at only 9.8mm thick. Weighing at 7.7Lbs, the HP x2301 features a 1980×1080 (1080p) resolution with a 8,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 3ms GtG response time, and BrightView technology. The x2301 is also mercury- and arsenic-free with Energy Star 5.0 and EPEAT Silver certifications. Additionally, this LCD display can also represent 72% of the color gamut. Iiyama E2008HDD-B ECO 20-inch HD LCD Monitor

Iiyama comes back to the HD LCD display market by releasing the E2008HDD-B. As part of the company’s ECO series, the 20-inch HD LCD monitor comes with an impressive 25 Watts power consumption, which is 40% less power consumption than its predecessors. The Iiyama E2008HDD-B offers a 1600 x 900 resolution, a 2ms response time, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio and a 250cd/m2 brightness level. AOC is gearing up to unleash a new series of LCD monitors ’50 ID’ this summer. Coming in six different models: 18.5-inch (1366 x 768), 20-inch (1600 x 900), 21.5-inch (1920 x 1080), 22-inch (1680 x 1050), 23-inch (1980 x 1080) and 23.6-inch (1920 x 1080), these LED-backlit monitors provide 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 200/250 cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. Not to mention, they also come with built-in speakers and have a number of connectivity ports including D-Sub only, D-Sub and DVI, or D-Sub, DVI and HDMI (depending on the model). Princeton PTFBEF-22W 21.5-inch LED Backlight Monitor

The Princeton PTFBEF-22W is a new 21.5-inch Full HD LED backlight monitor that provides a mono 1W speaker, a 250CD/m2 of brightness level and a 1000:1 of contrast ratio. The monitor has a standard DVI-D and D-SUB connectors. Unfortunately, it lacks of HDMI port. The company claims that the Princeton PTFBEF-22W consumes 48% less power consumption compared to its predecessors. Hyundai Q96Ld, Q226Lh And Q246Lh LCD Monitors

Hyundai IT has dropped three new LCD monitors for the European market namely the 18.5-inch Q96Ld, the 21.5-inch Q226Lh and the 23.6-inch Q246Lh. These new LED-backlight monitors provide 1366 x 768 native resolution (Q96Ld), 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution (Q226Lh and Q246Lh), 10,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 170/160 degree (H/V) viewing angles. In addition, they also come with two 1.5W built-in speakers and feature D-Sub, DVI and HDMI (Q246Lh only) outputs. ASUS has recently introduced the VG278H 3D monitor at 2011 CeBIT Trade Show. Designed for gamers, this monitor features a 27-inch LED-backlit panel, an HDMI 1.4 video input and a built-in infrared emitter that allows gamers to play video games or watch movies without the need for cables and connectors.
