The unit can display images from its built-in 512 MB memory, a card reader or downloaded from Google’s Picassa photo-sharing service. The 22 inches LW-2200AHU offers a 1680×1050 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness level, and 5ms response time. Meanwhile, the 26 inches LW-2600AHU boasts the standard 1366×768 HD Ready resolution, 800:1 contrast ratio, 400cd/m2 brightness level, and 8ms response time.
If you want to buy a new 19 inch LCD screen this Christmas, you can consider to buy the new GH-TIF193SDB LCD from GreenHouse that offers a WXGA+ resolution (1440×900), a 170 degree view angle, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a brightness level of 400cd/m2. The monitor also provides a DVI-D HDCP port. This LCD screen will be available in Japan for $280.
Samsung is ready to release its new 24-inch wide monitor in Japan. The SyncMaster 245T features 1,920 x 1,200(WUXGA) resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 6ms response time. The LCD screen is expected to be available in early December. Pricing info is still unavailable.
Eizo comes back with a new 24-inch Flexscan SX2461W-U monitor for the colorblinds. The screen adopts the CUD (Color Universal Design) technology which uses shapes, positions, and patterns to communicate color information back to the user. The monitor is capable of 92% color reproduction on a 1,920 x 1200 panel with 850:1 contrast and 300cd/m2 brightness level. The Flexscan SX2461W-U monitor provides two HDCP-enabled DVI jacks and two USB 2.0 ports. It is available in Japan starting December 6 for about $1,047.
Alphascan unveiled its new Prestige J2250D LCD monitor in Korea. The LCD screen is designed with a glossy black finish and slim bezel. It sports 2000:1 of contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 1680 x 1050 resolution and 300 cd/m² brightness level. The LCD also offers 15 pin D-sub connector and DVI port.
byd:Sign Japan today released a new 42inch LCD Full HDTV that offers four HDMI ports with a brightness of 900 cd/m2, SRS Surround and Digital TV Tuner. The LCD TV is priced at approx. $1400.
