iiyama has released three new LCD screens that come equipped with touchscreen panels. Priced at $678, the 15-inch T1530SR has 1024 x 768 resolution, 16ms response time, 500:1 contrast ratio, and 280 cd/m2 of brightness level. The 17-inch T1730SR and 19-inch T1930SR retail for $719 and $822, respectively. These LCD screens comes with 1280 x 1024 resolution, 800:1 contrast, 5ms response time, and 240cd/m2 brightness.
Good news for Korean. BTC has decided to release its new 15-inch dual monitor in Korea. The BTC 150DS is specially designed for needs of customer service business. The monitor sports PIP(Picture in Picture) function, 16ms response speed, 450:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m² brightness level, 100/130 viewing angle, 2W x 2W built-in stereo speakers, a couple of USB 2.0 ports and one DVI input.
That’s right! Sony Japan is now accepting pre-orders for the super slim XEL-1 OLED TV. As a reminder, this 11inch TV is the world’s slimmest with at just 3mm thick. The screen sports a resolution of 960×540, contrast ratio of 1000000:1 and comes with a digital TV tuner. The super slim XEL-1 OLED TV is available for $ 1800 with a 3 year warranty.
BenQ released G2400W 24-inch monitor in the Korean market. Designed for gamers, the screen offers full 1080p resolution, HDMI port and BenQ’s Senseye+photo technology. It is also compatible with Sony PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 Elite. The G2400W adopts SensEye+photo technology which offers clear image quality equivalent to that of digital connection even when the monitor is connected via D-Sub analogue port by adjusting contrast ratio and color signals. This 24-inch monitor retails for $608.
Samsung rolled out three new SyncMaster LCD displays with multimedia capabilities. The 19-inch 920BM and 22-inch 920WM and 2220WM widescreen LCD monitors features built-in speakers and proprietary Magic technologies for enhanced performance and image quality. The 920WM offers resolution of 1440 x 900 and a contrast ratio of 700:1, while the 2220WM has 1680 x 1050 resolution and a higher contrast ratio of 1000:1. The 19-inch 920BM monitor is a low-end display with a resolution of just 1280 x 1024, 300cd/m² brightness, and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The Samsung SyncMaster 920BM retails for $250, while the 920WM for $220, and the 2220WM is priced at $350.
The Sharp Japan has recently introduced three new AQUOS P Series of LCD TV’s. These LCD offers 400cd/m2 brightness and 176 degrees viewing angle. Other features include dual TV tuners analog / digital, 2 x HDMI input, DVI-D terminal, analog RGB, and onboard speakers that deliver an output of 5W×2ch. Only the 32 inch model that supports Full HD option (1,920×1,080). Piricng info is still unknown.

LG has recently released a high-end widescreen monitor with built-in digital TV Tuner. This stylish 22-inch LCD offers 1,680 x 1,050 WSXGA+ resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 170 degrees viewing angle, and HDMI port. The monitor will be available in the UK next month.

Sharp Corporation proudly present its new 2.2-inch super-thin LCD for mobile phones with a thickness of only 0.68 mm-worlds thinnest. Dubbed as the Sharp Mobile Advanced Super View LCD delivers superior image quality approaching that of an LCD TV. The screen offers a high contrast ratio of 2000:1, wide viewing angle of 176°, and fast response speed of 8ms. Mobile devices including mobile phones and digital cameras will become thinned in the near future. The company will showcase this new Sharp Mobile Advanced Super View LCD at FPD International 2007.
