BTC introduced ZEUS 7000 240MA, its 24-inch LCD monitor, in the Korea market. The screen sports HDMI port, PBP(picture by picture) function, and offers various inputs including DVI, D-Sub, SPDIF and audio in/out. See one more picture with a model after the jump.

Viewsonic’s VX2255 LCD display now comes clad in Swarovski crystals. Viewsonic has partnered with G Mask International to customize the monitor to your liking. The screen features a 22-inch screen size, 1680 x 1050 resolution, 5ms response time, and 1,000:1 contrast ratio, along with an integrated 1.3MP webcam, speakers, and microphone. No word on what it’ll cost, but people in Singapore will be able to check the LCD display out first hand at the Comex Show this month.

This new Motorola Q9 phone for Verizon looks really cool and trendy. This eye catching smartphone comes loaded with Windows Mobile 6 and is also equipped with QWERTY keyboard and a large LCD screen. The release date is still unknown, so stay tuned for more updates.

NuVision introduced ten new Lucidium Deep Black 1080p displays that feature the company’s Digital Switching Deep Black (DSDB) technology, which supposedly adjusts backlight settings in relation to images onscreen. This technology allows contrast ratios up to a whopping 15000:1. The screens also sport the company’s NiDO II or NiDO III image processor / color stabilizer. Prolink has announced two new compact LCD displays with decent specifications. The 20-inch PRO201AW/TW offers 1680 x 1050 resolution, 300cd/m² brightness, 600:1 contrast ratio, 5ms response time, 140/130 degrees viewing angle, built-in speakers, and TV Tuner. The 22-inch PRO221AW/TW provides similar specifications except 700:1 contrast ratio and 160/160 degrees viewing angle. The 20 inch and 22 inch LCD screens are priced at about $390 and $490 respectively.

Hitachi has recently unveiled a couple new LCD HDTVs with iDVR. In case you didn’t know, the iVDR is a hard disk drive that you can plug in many types of products including PC, digital cameras, camcorders, audio systems and televisions. Hitachi decided to add it to two of their latest HDTVs. The first one is the Hitachi P42-HV01 that features a 1024×1080 resolution, 500cd/m2 brightness and 10.000:1 contrast ratio, and comes equipped with the Picture Master Full HD. The second TV to benefit from the iDVR is the 37 inches L37-X01, which is also offers Full HD with a 1920×1080 wide resolution, 500cd/m2 brightness and 7.000:1 contrast ratio.

Samsung develops a 30-inch LCD panel with the world’s next-generation video interface called DisplayPort. This new interface transmits graphics data at a total data rate of 10.8Gbps enabling 2560×1600 resolution without any color smear. The new LCD screen features 1000:1 contrast ratio, 6ms response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, and 180 degrees viewing angle. The company will start mass production of the 30-inch panel from the second quarter of 2008.

NEC unveiled their latest LCD monitor, the 1990SX, which sports a 1,280 x 1,024 resolution, 1,500:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness, an 8ms response time, and a 178-degree viewing angle. Even better, the monitor features automatic black level adjustment, DVI / VGA inputs, and a built-in power supply. So far, there is no info on pricing or the release date. But it seems that the NEC 1990SX LCD display will be available in Japan next month.

Samsung’s SyncMaster 971P LCD monitor has been selected as the 2007 Industrial Design Excellence Awards Winner which is co-hosted by the Industrial Designers Society of America and Business Week. The LCD screen features triple-hinge design like the Mobius strip. The design offers versatile adjustment capabilities and gives computing more comfort and less effort. We know how much of a pain it is to hook up a monitor sometimes, this takes a lot of that unnecessary effort away.
