
The V2210 and V2410 are BenQ Japan’s latest LED backlight LCD displays that will be launched on December 25th, 2009. Both monitors support a 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a 250cd/m2 brightness level. Additional features include an HDMI port and a D-Sub. LG is back with Color Pop W30S display series that provides a 5ms response time with a 250 cd/m2 brightness and a 30,000:1 contrast ratio. There are basically two models W1930S and W2230S that support for resolutions of up to 1366 x 768 pixels and 1920 x 1080 pixels, respectively. Unfortunately, these LCD displays lack of HDMI and DVI ports. No word on pricing or availability so far. [LG]

ASUS today updated the Designo ultra sexy LCD monitors series by releasing the new Designo LS246H. This 23.6-inch monitor is an eco-friendly product since it is manufactured with 50% less hazardous materials than most monitors and uses up to 30% less power. The ASUS Designo LS246H supports both HDMI and VGA connectivity and provides a Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 16.7-million colors. Good news for folks who are living in Japan because Asus has announced the availability of its Asus MS236H 23-inch LCD display in that country. The Asus MS236H (Designo MS) provides a Full HD resolution (1920×1080) with a 250 cd/m2 brightness level, a 2ms response time, and a 50000:1 active contrast ratio. This 23-inch LCD screen also supports HDMI and DVI-HDCP. Folks in Japan can purchase the Asus MS236H for 28800 Yen or around $321. [gdgt]

Samsung will show off their latest 55-inch Full HD 3D LCD panel at the IMID expo in South Korea. This newly developed 3D LCD panel provides a 240Hz refresh rate that allows the content to seem more natural, vibrant and create no ghosting as compared to lower 120Hz 3D TVs. Alphascan will launch a couple of new 16:9 HD monitors ‘Femme Crystal’ in the South Korean market. The 24-inch model ‘Femme Crystal P241DHS’ features 60000:1 contrast ratio, 2ms response time, HDMI port and built-in speaker, meanwhile the 21.5-inch model ‘Femme Crystal P221D’ supports 50000:1 contrast ratio and 5ms response time. Dell has finally released the Ultrasharp U2410 and ST2410 LCD monitors in the US market. The Dell U2410 adopts an IPS panel, providing 96% coverage of the Adobe RGB color space and 100% coverage of the sRGB color space. It also supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 resolution, a 6ms response time, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 400 cd/m2 brightness and comes with several connectivity ports including VGA, DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort and four USB ports. A budget alternative, the ST2410, is also new and uses a less color-rich TN (twisted nematic) panel as well as a lower 50,000:1 contrast ratio. NuVision is famous for its high-quality 1080p Deep Black LCD displays. The company will exhibit its limited edition pink-framed 32-inch Lucidium FX5 Series LCD at CEDIA 2009. These LCD HDTVs boast a high-quality razor-sharp picture, an elegant pink frame and, most importantly, a portion of the revenue will be donated to breast cancer research.
