
HANNSG has announced a new 25-inch LCD monitor to its range in the form of the HH251HP. This widescreen LCD supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and features 5ms response time (2ms GTG), 800:1 contrast ratio (15000:1 DCR), brightness of 300 cd/m2 and two 1.5W speakers. The Prestige R2300D is the latest 23-inch eco-friendly monitor from Alphascan for the Korean Market. This widescreen LCD monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and features 2ms response speed, 2000:1 contrast ratio, 0.3W high-efficiency power supply, 3D game support and up to 50,000 hours of using time. LG Japan has recently released a new stylish 23-inch HD LCD monitor for the Japanese market. Known as the M237WS, this new widescreen HD LCD supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and features 16:9 aspect ratio, 5ms response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300 cd/m2 brightness and 160/170 degrees viewing angle. Alienware’s latest LCD monitor ‘OptX AW2210′ is claimed to be “ideal for the latest-generation games and high-definition movies”. This 21.5-inch LCD monitor supports a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and features a 2ms response time, a 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and a 300 cd/m2 brightness. The H235H is the latest premium LCD display from Acer that comes with HD resolution. This stylish monitor offers a 23-inch widescreen LCD with 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a 2ms response time, an ultra-high 100,000:1 contrast ratio, a 300 cd/m2 brightness and 160-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles. Acer Japan has rolled out two new eco-friendly LCD monitors in the form of the V193WBbmd and V223WBbmd (pictured above). Both of them are energy efficient displays, reducing power consumption by almost 36%. As for the specs itself, both monitors feature 5ms response time, 10,000:1 contrast ratio and 300cd/m2 brightness. The main difference is that the V193WBbmd only comes with a 19-inch display with 1,440 x 900 resolution, meanwhile, the V223WBbmd offers a bigger 22-inch display with 1,680 x 1,050 resolution. Iiyama has added a new 23.6-inch full HD LCD to their range in the form of the ProLite E2407HDS. This new LCD boasts a full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, a 1000:1 contrast ratio (up to 60000:1 with the ACR), a 300cd/m2 brightness and supports both DVI-D and HDMI connections. Samsung has added three new desktop LCD monitors to their range in the form of the P2070, P2370 and P2370HD. All three LCDs feature Samsung’s Touch of Color design, 50,000:1 contrast ratio and a clear acrylic neck. The main differences are: the P2070 only offers 1600 x 900 screen resolution, meanwhile the P2370 and P2370HD boast 1920 x 1080 screen resolution for viewing HD content. JVC will release its new 42-inch Full HD LCD display next month, which is specially made for imaging professionals who require high resolution LCD displays. The JVC LT-42WX70 is able to reproduce a higher range of colors that most displays can give. It will display 100% of sRGB, and 96% of Adobe RGB. Unfortunately, there is no word on pricing so far.
