EIZO Japan is back with its new Full HD Monitor ‘FlexScan EV2334W-T’ for the mass market. This 23-inch widescreen monitor features a VA panel with 1920 x 1080 native resolution, 7ms (GTG) response time, 300 cd/m2 brightness, 3,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, an EcoView Sense function (power save mode) and an Auto EvoView for automatic brightness adjustments based on ambient lighting. Mitsubishi’s Latest LCD Models

Mitsubishi MZW200 HDTV LCD

Mitsubishi this week has given a preview to Americans of some likely new HDTV sequels to its REAL TV line. The higher end MZW series will comprise a 46-inch LCD 1080p panel (LCD-46MZW200) and 40-inch LCD 1080p panel (LCD-40MZW200). MZW features Mitsubishi’s newer Diamond Engine Pro III technology to process video in 16-bit detail and reduce noise beyond performance from competitors. Both are full 1080p sets and boast 120Hz refresh rates that eliminate motion artifacts; plus four HDMI inputs with CEC compatibility and should ship October 21st at equivalent prices of $2,725 for the 40-inch MZW200 set and $3,634 for the 46-inch version. Lower-cost systems will also be available soon. The 37- and 42-inch MXW200 updates also produce 1080p but lack the 120Hz output, and will sell for $2,089 and $2,543 respectively. [Electronista]

BenQ To Release Three New Full HD LCDs

BenQ Korea is ready to launch three new 22-inch HD LCD monitors in the Korean market next month. Known as the E2200HD, M2200HD and M2400HD, these 16:9 full HD monitors offers a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, a quick 2ms response time, and BenQ’s proprietary Senseye and AMA(Advanced Motion Accelerator technologies. Samsung has rolled out its spanking new 9 Series LCD HDTVs. In case you didn’t know, these HDTVs are the 2nd generation LED-backlit LCD HDTVs that feature 1080p Ultra Clear panels, auto Motion Plus 120Hz technology, a superb 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, an integrated networking technology, 4ms response time, and down-firing speakers. Each LCD monitor also has four HDMI-CEC ports, Ethernet socket and PC input. The 46 inch LN46A950 and 55 inch LN55A950 are priced at $3,199.99 and $4,199.99, respectively. [Press Release]

JVC Drops 2 Models of LCD HDTVS Next Month

JVC will be shipping the 42-inch LT-42SL89 and 46-inch LT-46SL89 HDTVs fairly soon. They feature 1.5-inches, a maximum depth of just 2.9-inches at the panel’s center, a TV tuner, three HDMI inputs, two component jacks and one S-Video / VGA port to complement the USB picture viewer, illuminated remote and touch-sensitive buttons on the front panel. Sony has released a new series of BRAVIA TVs that reduce your power consumption to 89W. This JE1 Series uses fluorescent tubes that provide higher luminance efficiency at lower electric voltage with optical film that gives off a higher light transmission rate. The KDL-32JE1 features a 32-Inch LCD Panel in WXGA Resolution (1366×768 ), HDMI interface, Digital TV Tuner, and a contrast ratio of 2500:1 as well as a view angle of 178 degrees. LG Turns Green with Flatron W2252TE Monitor

LG will be launching the new Flatron W2252TE 22″ widescreen LCD monitor. It comes with a 45% power reduction compared to other models so you can save about 40 watts during usage. It is claimed to be the “greenest LCD monitor on the market”. There’s no word on pricing but will be available in the UK from August onwards. [SmartPlanet]

HP will be dropping a color critical display called the DreamColor LP2480xz. Checking in at 24-inches diagonal, this 30-bit, LED-backlit features more than 1 billion colors” and 64 times the colors available on mainstream LCDs.” It was designed in collaboration with DreamWorks Animation and comes with the HP DreamColor engine software and calibration kit for about $3,499.
