Sony Intros BRAVIA W4000 LCD HDTVs

Sony will dropping some Bravia LCD HDTVs in 32, 40, 46, and 52-inch models. They all feature a 1080p resolution, picture frame mode, BRAVIA Engine 2, BRAVIA Sync, XMB, 24p true cinema, USB photo viewer, 178-degree viewing angles, a built-in DVB-T tuner, VGA port and a trio of HDMI connectors. The 32-incher gets a bit less with the lack of live color creation, a 10-bit panel, PhotoTV HD, and x.v.Color. No word on pricing or availability for any of these, but it is said that they might hit Europe first. [PocketLint]

Here is a new 7 inch LCD module from NEC. The new 7 inch amorphous-silicon thin-film-transistor LCD module (NL8048BC19-02) offers WVGA resolution and has a long-life white LED as the light source. It is able to provides 50,000 hours of life span. The screen also has low power consumption. Humax LCD TV Concept: Futuristic and Smooth

When you first see this badboy, you think of the year 3000 and space cars don’t you? Well the Humax LCD TV concept gives off that vibe and more, designed by London’s Tej Chauhan, the future-retro model looks old and new at the same time. I-O Data will be launching another LCD PC with a digital TV tuner and an HDMI port. The LCD-DTV221 XBR comes with a WSXGA+ resolution (1680×1050), an integrated digital TV tuner, PIP, D5, DVI HDCP and HDMI port, 2.5Wx2 integrated speaker, a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a brightness of 300cd/m2. Sony Drops Four E-Series 3LCD Projectors in Asia

Sony is going crazy with lcd projectors in the Asia-Pacific. These new models include the VPL-EW5, VPL-EX50, VPL-EX5 and the VPL-ES5. Kitchen HDTV From Pandigital

Pandigital’s Kitchen HDTV is a combination of a digital photo frame and an HD television. This 15inch screen has the ability to display your recipes as you cook in HD quality (1,280 by 720-pixel resolution). It supports ATSC and NTSC, and can be connected to video feeds using composite, S-Video, YPbPr, or HDMI connections. The unit can display images from its built-in 512 MB memory, a card reader or downloaded from Google’s Picassa photo-sharing service. Samsung Launches SyncMaster LCD Monitors

Samsung 19-inch 953BW and 22-inch 2253BW LCD Monitors

Samsung has just dropped 2 new LCD monitors. The first one is the 19-inch 953BW for $239. It features a 1,440 x 900 resolution, 300 cd/m2 brightness and a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, the 20-inch 2053BW ($299), and 22-inch 2253LW ($319) as well as the 22-inch 2253BW ($349). All three come with a 1,680 x 1,050 resolution and two-millisecond response time. Along with an HDCP-compliant DVI port, intelligent MagicColor controls and a black glossy finish.
