
LG today released a couple of wireless LED backlight TVs – the SL95 and SL90 series. Measuring at only 29.3mm thin, these TVs are available in either 42-inch or 47-inch sizes and come with a smaller bezel of 30mm. Both models adopt the LG EYEQ Green technology that can reduce up to 70% your TV potential consumptionEach TV comes equipped with a remote control that works just like the Nintendo Wiimote. The remote control has a Gyro sensor allowing you to easily control the TV 3D User Interface by waving, shaking, or rotating it. [Today Reviews]

First introduced back in June, the JVC LT-32WX50 32-Inch LED Backlight TV is finally making its way to US markets in November. In case you’ve forgotten, this super-slim LCD display measures only 7.7mm thin and weighs just 5.7kg. The set has a contrast ratio of 4,000:1 together with 100 percent of sRGB and 90 percent of Adobe RGB color space. It also comes with several connectivity ports including two HDMI, one analog DSUB and one RS-232C. No details on pricing yet, but it should be available for under $3,000. [SlashGear]

Sharp has rolled out the LE600 and LE700 LED TV series. The former comes in 32-inch, 40-inch and 46-inch models, meanwhile the latter has all those plus the added advantage of a 52-inch model. Both the LE600 and LE70 series feature Full HD resolution, LED backlights, a contrast ratio of 4,000:1, Sharp’s “X-Gen Panel” with its proprietary “Mega Contrast” and “Brilliant colour Processor” technology. The Sharp LE700 is better than the LE600 because it has a quick 4ms response time, four HDMI ports, and a USB port that allows playback of MP3 and JPEG files directly from a USB Flash drive. JVC today showed off the new 32-inch LT-32WX50 LED backlight TV at the CEDIA expo, It has a contrast ratio of 4,000:1 and 90% Adobe RGB color space. Measuring at only 7mm thin, this 32-inch also comes with two HDMI inputs, a PC input, an USB port and an SD memory card slot. The JVC 32-inch LT-32WX50 LED backlight TV retails for £1,900 ($3,124) when it is released in the UK sometime this October/November 2009. [Engadget]

Samsung will present the XL24 and XL30 LCD TV’s in Korea that both feature LED backlight technology. The 24-inch version is going for $3,089 and the bigger one is $5,885. [Akihabara]
