Designed by Tek-Sia Design Studio, the Bendboo table lamp is made from a combination of a natural bamboo and a matte-black metal. The unique table lamp uses two energy-efficient LED lights. The polished bamboo can slide up and down manually to adjust the angle of light emitted by these LED lights. It is a cool concept that will hopefully hit the light of production. The Fulcrum 20031-101 cordless motion activated light features half a dozen ultra-bright LED lights that are powerful enough to illuminate almost any area outside your home including porches, decks, or patios. This weatherproof lamp uses a built-in photocell that will activate only in the dark. Its built-in motion sensor will activate the lamp when it detects movement and shuts the light Off when no motion is detected for 30 seconds. The lamp also requires four C batteries that provide up to 150-hour of operation time. GiiNii International will launch the new Audio Bulb in October 2011. The Audio Bulb is a combination of an energy-efficient LED light and a wireless speaker, allowing users to play music from iPods, iPhones and auxiliary input sources throughout their homes or offices sans wires. This eco-friendly lamp fits into any standard lamp socket and consumes only 5W of power to produce light that is equivalent to a 60W incandescent bulb. The GiiNii Audio Bulb is priced at an MSRP of $299.99. Each Audio Bulb package consists of two LED bulbs, a standalone base unit, a remote control, an auxiliary-in cable and a power cord. Junwon Yang’s Emergency Flashlight is designed to illuminate both the path in front of you and the one that you are walking on. This flashlight can protect the bottom feet for a lot of persons at emergency situations because it is able to ensure visual fields of the person lifting a flashlight and followers at the same time. There are lamps on both sides at this flashlight. The forward lamp ensures front views, while the back lamp follower’s visual fields of bottom feet with 45 degrees angle. Hungarian designer Balint Tamasi has created an innovative LED-powered lamp called HydraLamp. This eco-friendly lamp has a unique cooling system that extends the LED bulb lifetime up to 50,000-hour. The Hydralamp produces the same luminous power as a 20W halogen bulb but consumes only 4W. The lamp casing is made of anodized aluminum and tempered glass. See more pictures after jump. Read more
Gem Hsin has recently announced a new LED desk lamp called TOPAZ in Taipei. Designed for desktop PC and laptop users, the lamp will work with any powered USB port on a computer to provide an external light source. The Gem Hsin TOPAZ consumes only 2 Watts per hour and provides up to 500 lux of illumination. The TOPAZ lamps can even function at three different brightness levels.
