
LG has recently unveiled the Optimus Pad LTE. As its name suggests, the tablet supports the LTE technology, an 8.9-inch True HD IPS display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and an 8-megapixel camera with an HD video recording capability. Measuring 245mm x 151.4mm x 9.34mm and weighing at only 497 grams, the LG Optimus Pad LTE is powered by a fast 1.5 GHz Qualcomm dual-core processor, up to 32GB of storage space and the Google Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS. LG has announced the availability of their new portable Blu-ray writer ‘BP40NS20’ in Europe. This slim drive features a 4MB of buffer memory, a USB 2.0 connection interface, 3D Blu-ray and BDXL support and provides write speeds of up to 6x for BD-R, 2x for BD-RE, 8x for DVD-R/+R/+RW, 6x for DVD-RW, 5x for DVD-RAM and 24x for CD-R/CD-RW. LG USA is ready to introduce the BH9420PW, BH9220BW and BH9520TW 3D home theater systems at the upcoming CES 2012 in Las Vegas. These home theater systems adopt the company’s 3D Sound Zooming technology and the 360-degree Reflector technology that provide a better 3D experience for the user. LG is ready to introduce the world’s largest 3D Ultra Definition (UD) TV with a display size of 84-inch at CES 2012 in Las Vegas. What makes this 3D UD TV special is that it offers a native resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels or about 8 million pixels. Measuring at only 4mm thin and weighing 7.5 Kg, the 84-inch LG 3D Ultra Definition (UD) TV also incorporates 4-Color Pixels and Color Refiner, which provide natural and accurate colors. LG hits back with their new DLP projector, the HW300Y. This travel-friendly projector provides 1280 x 800 native resolution, 300 ANSI lumens brightness, 1000:1 contrast ratio and up to 30,000 hours of LED lamp life. Not only that, it also comes with a built-in DLNA connectivity, 2x 1W stereo speakers and a number of connectivity ports including HDMI, RGB, composite, component and USB. LG will release the DM92 27-inch 3D-capable display in the first half of 2012. The monitor has a 1mm-thick bezel and adopts an enhanced IPS (e-IPS) technology, offering a high color accuracy and a 178-degree viewing angles. LG has unveiled the next generation of LG Magic Motion remote control that enables you to select TV channels with hand gestures. The new LG Magic Motion also features a voice recognition for text input, a new 3D button, a scroll wheel and a “Magic Gestures”. The company will introduce this remote control at CES 2012. The new LG DX2500 glasses free 3D monitor has been released in South Korea. Available in 20-inch and 24-inch models, the LG DX2500 features the parallax barrier 3D technology and an integrated camera for enhanced 3D experience based on your position (head-tracking). The IPS235G-BN is another upcoming IPS LCD Monitor from LG for the Japanese market. This new 23-inch LED-backlight monitor delivers 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 14ms response time and 178/178 degree viewing angles, and features mini D-Sub, DVI-D and HDMI connectors.
