
LG has once again expanded its XPION range of desktop PCs by announcing the S30NP.AR5701, T30KN.ARE701 and A30MF.ARE701. Targeted towards home users, the S30NP.AR5701 sports an Intel Core i5-750 CPU, a GeForce 9600GT 512MB graphics card, a P55 chipset, a 3GB of DDR3 1066MHz RAM, a 640GB hard drive and a DVD SuperMulti drive. Joined by the T30KN.ARE701 that features an Intel Core 2 Duo E7600 CPU, a GeForce G210 512MB graphics card, a 2GB of FFR2 800MHz RAM, a 640GB hard drive and a DVD SuperMulti drive. Finally the A30MF.ARE701 that offers an Intel Core 2 Duo E7600 CPU, a GeForce GT220 1GB graphics card with both HDMI and DVI outputs, a 3GB of DDR3 1066MHz RAM, a 500GB hard drive and a DVD SuperMulti drive. LG has announced a new series of external HDDs for the South Korean market, the XD5 Mini. Designed specifically for use with netbooks, this 2.5-inch drive is available in 320GB and 500GB sizes and supports SATA-II interface for a faster and efficient data transfer. LG today introduced a brand new laptop namely the X-NOTE R590. The 15.6-inch laptop is powered by an Intel i7 CPU (820QM or 720QM) with a 4GB of RAM, a 1024MB of nVidia GeForce CT 230M graphics, a LED Backlight LCD monitor with a 1600×900 resolution, a 500GB of HDD, WiFi and Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium. LG has just unveiled its first e-Book reader that integrates a thin solar cell for extending its battery life. Measuring only 0.7mm thick and weighing just 20 grams, this thin solar cell is able to extend the running time of the e-book’s battery by a day, simply by exposing it to sunlight for about four to five hours. LG today released a couple of wireless LED backlight TVs – the SL95 and SL90 series. Measuring at only 29.3mm thin, these TVs are available in either 42-inch or 47-inch sizes and come with a smaller bezel of 30mm. Both models adopt the LG EYEQ Green technology that can reduce up to 70% your TV potential consumptionEach TV comes equipped with a remote control that works just like the Nintendo Wiimote. LG Electronics is back with its new LCD Monitor for the Russian market called the W1930S. This 18.5-inch widescreen monitor offers a native resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 30,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 5ms response time and 160/170 degrees viewing angle. LG has added a new cell phone to their range by releasing the LG GD510. The phone comes jam packed with a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 400, a 3-megapixel camera, and a 8GB of storage space to store your captured pictures or videos. Additional features include a brushed aluminum case, and an optional solar panel that will replace the battery cover and can be used to charge the phone’s battery. Here’s the latest addition to LG’s Mini Projector line up, the HS200G. Weighing just 800 grams, this lightweight and portable projector is able to throw a 40-inch image at just 1.1m away from the screen. It also provides 200 ANSI lumens brightness, 2000:1 contrast ratio, up to 30,000 hours of lamp life, an FM transmitter and two connectivity ports including USB and HDMI. The new LG FB44 iPod docking station has been unveiled during IFA 2009. The iPod dock produces a total output power of 40-watts, which is more than enough for listening to music in a small room. The gadget also supports DVD playback with a 1080p upscaling and a HDMI port, so you can connect the LG FB44 to your HDTV. LG Electronics today unveiled its new WIDEBOOK notebook range that provides an extreme entertainment experience to consumers. The LG WIDEBOOK range consists of five models including the R580, R560, R480, R460 and R380. Each models features an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an SRS TruSurround HD sound, and a wide 16:9 HD LED-backlit display, which is optimized for HD content and provides in 1600 x 900 and 1368 x 768 HD pixel resolutions, depending on the model.
The R580 and R560 boast a 15.6-inch display, while the R480 and R460 feature a 14-inch screen. The R380 is a smaller model that comes with a 13.3-inch panel. The R580 and R480 are positioned as premium models and sport a stylish design, while the R560 and R460 are reliable everyday workhorses and the R380 offers a blend of performance at an affordable price. In addition, the LG R580 supports a Blu-ray drive. More
