LG is finally releasing its LG Viewty phone (also known as the LG-KU990) for the European market. The camera phone features a 5MP Schneider-Kreuznach digital camera with SmartLight technology, a one-touch Image Stabilizer, and ISO 800. The handset has a beautiful 3 inch touchscreen LCD with handwriting editing function. What makes the LG-KU990 super cool is its ability to play DivX videos, considering most phones only play 3GP or MP4 videos. There is no info on pricing so far, but this sure is a phone to keep an eye on.

Although this isn’t at all that impressive, LG has announced their release of the 32-inch plasma (smallest TV for LG). It features 852×480 resolution, 550 lumen brightness, 1,800:1 contrast, and is relatively cheap going for $1,000-1,110. This is expected to hit stores next month if anyone cares.

LG Philips has announced their release of their 42-inch LCD TV this coming year. It is a ultra-slim 42-inch Full HD 120Hz TV. Only measuring at 7.8-inches thick which makes it lighter and thinner than most other LCD TV’s out there which is always a good thing when looking for a TV. It also has a CFFL instead of LED backlit. The panel is going to be on display in FPD International in Japan next week.

LG has recently introduced its new “Chocolate” home theater in the Korean market. Known as the HT972TR, the home theater system features an integrated CD/DVD player and offers a total power of 1000W. The system has 5 speakers with 155W and a subwoofer with 255 Watts. The touchscreen buttons on the front of these speakers are inspired by the navigation buttons on the LG Chocolate cellphone. In addition, the HT972TR plays MP3 and WMA audio files, JPEG images and DivX videos (DVD±RW, DVD±R, DVD), CD-R and CD-RW. This home theater also adopts the VSM technology (Virtual Sound Matrix/three-dimensional sound) that extends the original 5.1 to emulate a 10.1 channel configuration.

LG has recently released the Voyager a.k.a. the VX10000, which comes loaded with a touchscreen display and provides a iPhone-like interface. Its screen allows users to make calls, play music and take 2MP photos. The phone also offers a full QWERTY keyboard and a secondary display for email, text messaging, and games. Other features include a microSDHC memory card slot, 3G connectivity, and support for V CAST TV for live digital TV. No info on pricing so far.

The LG-KS10 a.k.a. JoY is a symbian smartphone that offers a slider keypad and comes with a 2.4 inch LCD screen, 2MP camera, bluetooth and media player. The handset also has HSDPA connectivity, which provides download speeds of up to 1.8Mbps.

We saw the LG CE110 on AT&T’s site today. The handset has a VGA camera, Bluetooth, e-mail and multimedia messaging. The LG CE110 appears to be available now from AT&T’s site.

It allows users to easily playback a wide range of DivX files from the PC on the go or output to a TV monitor without converting to another format. LG has updated its Shine mobile phone with a couple new colors. They decided to make those after studying the demands of the consumers, apparently the Europeans want a Pink version, while the Asians prefer a Gold version. Both handsets will be available soon.
