
LG just released its latest LH 80 series of LCD TVs that is currently available in 42-inch, 47-inch and 55-inch models. These LCD TVs feature Full HD wireless capability thanks to a newly developed “Media Box” that also includes the LCD TV tuner, HDMI hub, and a USB port to access JPEG and DIVX video stored on a portable hard drive or flash disk. LG has rolled out a new range of digital TV monitors called the M7WD series. These TV monitors are aimed at people that want to do multiple things with one display, including television, PC usage, high-def content and radio. Available in 22-inch and 19-inch sizes, the M7WDs boast 1920 x 1080 resolution with 20,000:1 digital fine contrast ratio and 5ms response times. Other features include a 170 degree viewing angle, 3W built-in stereo speakers along with numerous connection ports including SCART, DVI and HDMI. The LG W2243T is a new 21.5-inch entry-level Full HD LCD with LED backlight. The screen features DVI (HDCP) and D-Sub ports, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 30000:1 dynamic ratio, a brightness level of 300cd/m2 and a view angle of 160/170 degrees. The LG W2243T will be released in Japan on April 30th, 2009 for 16500 Yen ($170). [LG]

LG has officially announced the price tag for its TruMotion 240Hz LH90 series displays. The LED TV offers a contrast ratio of 200,000:1, THX support and the ability to play DivX files via USB. It will be available in 42, 47 and 55-inch sizes for prices around 3,300,000 Won ($2,445) to 6,400,000 Won ($4,742), depending on the model. Sadly, there’s no word on release dates yet. [Engadget]

The latest XCanvas home theater from LG is available in two different settings. The HT964TZ (5.1ch) and HT564DG (2.1ch) come with a unique form of a glass of champagne and red wine color. Both models support only DVDs and LG’s state of the art upscalling technology. No word on pricing so far but with looks like that one would expect some Blu-ray action. [Akihabara]

LG today announced the availability of the UP3 Neon in South Korea. This player is currently available in 2GB and 4GB storage space. The gadget supports MP3, WMA and WAV file formats and FM Radio. LG W53 SMART Monitor Series boasts the Auto Brightness feature that allows these LCD screens to automatically optimize their brightness and other picture settings based on the ambient light in the room and the content being viewed. LG based these settings on the unified glare rating (UGR) recommended by International Commission on Illumination to ensure a comfortable viewing experience. What makes these monitors more special is that they have a sensor under the screen’s bezel that detects when a hand approaches the screen and activates lights that make buttons easy to find when they are needed. When not in use, the lights disappear. LG today introduced its latest music-centric handset in Korea, the LG GM310, GM210 and GM205. These music phone offer Dolby Mobile and LG’s latest Sound Engine for high-quality sound output and music buttons for quick access to music player control. The LG GM310 offers a 3MP shooter, microSD card slot (up to 32GB) and touch sensor buttons. Both the LG GM210 and GM205 feature a 2MP camera and microSD card slot (up to 4GB). The phone features a built-in Chinese dictionary and offers a database of up to 560,000 words in English and Japanese. There are also a hotkey for the electronic dictionary function, glide sensor technology on the keypad, automatic global roaming service in 18 countries and a 2.7 inch WQVGA display.
