Equinux has announced its new TubeSteak TubeStick hybrid TV viewer for the Mac. The USB-based TV receiver supports viewing digital over-the-air HDTV (ATSC), digital (QAM), and analog cable TV (NTSC), and doesn’t block other ports on the MacBook or MacBook Pro. Catch one next month for $129.

Fujitsu has just dropped the new ScanSnap S300M for Mac. It converts up to 8 doubled sided pages per minute into PDF files and USB powered. It has support for Mac OS® X Leopard™ and comes with the Cardiris software for business card scanning.The Fujitsu ScanSnap S300M will be available for $295 after March 15th.

FastMac has released for the Apple Mac Pro and Power Mac G5 the new FastMac 4X Dual Layer Blu-ray drive. It offers you 50GB of storage on a Blu-ray disc without jeopardizing DVD and CD media compatibility, and SATA connectivity enabling you to burn a whole 50GB worth of data in less than 50 minutes. The FastMac 4x Dual Layer Blu-ray drive retails for $600.

FastMac offers a Blu-ray drive that is compatible with Macs including some older machines such as the iBook G4 and the iMac G5, the new 17″ MacBook Pros and Intel-powered Macs. Priced at a hefty $1,000, the drive provides 2x burning.

Good news for Mac users. Electronic Arts’ games Battlefield 2142, Command and Conquer 3, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Need for Speed Carbon are all now available for order at the Apple Store. The retail stores will have Need for Speed Carbon and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 and Battlefield 2142 and Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars on Tuesday, August 28, 2007. EA also announces that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 and Madden NFL 08 will not be available until September or October.
