Magellan is famous for its navigation gadgets. One of their latest products is the RoadMate 1475T that is an updated version of the previously released RoadMate 1470. The device features a 4.7-inch WQVGA anti-glare display, six million POIs, spoken street name guidance, highway lane assist, AAA TourBook listings, and QuickSpell feature. The Magellan Maestro 4700 features a 4.7-inch LCD display, voice commands, Bluetooth connectivity, a live traffic option, and the Magellan OneTouch interface. The Magellan RoadMate 1430 has recently appeared on Magellan’s website. This navigation gadget supports Live traffic capability which is not available in RoadMate 1412 or RoadMate 1400. Other features include text-to-speech feature, 4.3 inch touch screen, and 6 million points of interests. Maps are provided by Navteq, and the Live traffic feature is free for three months. The Magellan Maestro 5340 is now available for pre-order for about $1,200, which is pretty crazy but the features explain it all. The 5340 comes with a 5″ display, text-to-Speech, bluetooth connectivity, live traffic information, advanced voice command for menus and addresses, 3D landmarks, MP3 and video playback, and OneTouch interface. Navigadgets provides us an information about the new Magellan RoadMate 1200 GPS navigation gadget. It comes loaded with a 3.5 inch anti-glare touchscreen display and utilities Centrality Atlas II GPS receiver. The RoadMate 1200 provides maps of the continental US, Hawaii and Puerto Rico with 1.3 million points of interest. Pricing info is still unknown.
