Marantz has announced its latest network audio player, the NA7004, that serves as a digital-to-analog converter for people with large collections of downloaded high-resolution music on their computers or other external storage devices who want to listen through their home audio systems. The Marantz NA7004 is a DLNA version 1.5-certified DMP (Digital Media Player) and DMR (Digital Media Renderer), which is capable of providing users with studio quality sound in home listening rooms. The player utilizes some of today’s most advanced and innovative sonic-enhancement technologies to deliver pristine audio performance from all of today’s most widely used digital music sources. Users also have access to vast collections of Internet radio stations for high-quality playback though a home audio system. Among its key performance and convenience features are a USB front-panel input featuring iPod Digital Connection and a back panel M-XPort for wireless Bluetooth streaming with optional RX101 Bluetooth Receiver. The NA7004 also includes access to over 14,000 Internet Radio stations. File types supported include FLAC, 96/24FLAC, WAV, WMA, WMA Lossless, MP3, MPEG-4 and AAC. Marantz has rolled out the new M-CR603 Network CD receiver, which features a built-in amplifier, a receiver, a CD player, an AM/FM radio and music streaming from Rhapsody, Pandora, and Napster. Measuring 12-inch x 12-inch, the Marantz M-CR603 also sports a USB port for connecting to an iPod. What’s more, it can also connect to a home network for streaming and multi-room distribution. Marantz will release their latest SACD/CD player in Japan. Known as the SA8004, it comes equipped with a USB DAC, so you can connect this player to your computer, iPhone and iPod. What makes the Marantz SA8004 more special is that it is compatible with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 and OSX 10.6.3 and above. Marantz will start selling the SA8004 SACD/CD player in August 2010 at around 100,000 Yen ($1,127). [Akihabara]
Marantz comes back with two new integrated amplifier and CD player namely the PM5004 and CD5004. The Marantz PM5004 produces an output power of 40Watt per Channel at 8 Ohms. Measuring 440mm × 370mm × 105mm and weighing 6.7kg, the amplifier also provides a THD of 0.05% (20Hz – 20kHz, 8 Ohms), a frequency response of 10Hz – 50kHz and a S/N rato of 103dB.
Meanwhile, the Marantz CD5004 CD player features a dynamic range of 100dB, a frequency Response of 2Hz – 20000Hz, a THD 0.002% and a S/N ratio of 110dB. Marantz has entered the entry-level AV receiver market by releasing the NR1501. Priced at $600, the AV receiver comes with four HDMI inputs, onboard decoding for Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, and analog video upconversion. The NR1501 also a bit smaller than most receivers. Sadly, there is no 7.1 analog inputs, multizone functionality, and satellite radio connections. [Crave]

The player features 10-bit Silicon Optix REALTA chipset, 14-bit video DAC, an SD card reader, RS-232 control interface, and supports for BD-Live and an Ethernet port. Marantz boasts its latest Blu-ray player known as the BD8002. However, you should spend at least £1,799 to bring home this Blu-ray player. The Marantz IS301 iPod Dock is different from other iPod docks. This iPod docking station can be rotated for wall-mounting and features Bluetooth connectivity for remote streaming to your Hi-Fi system. Marantz offers its mini Audio System in Japan. Dubbed as the M-CR502, the system consists of an amplifier, CD player, and speakers and offers a RMS Output power of 50W x2 or 25W x4, a THD of 0.10%, a frequency response of 5Hz-20kH (±3dB) and a signal noise ratio of 86dB. Marantz is proud to present their VP-11S2 projector featuring HD (1920 x 1080) resolution with inputs including component, composite, s-video, RGB, and two HDMI 1.3 inputs. It also comes with two control ports, one being an RS-232C port. With the famous Texas Instrument’s new DarkChip4 chipset which boosts its brightness and contrast to 800 ANSI lumens and a 12000:1 contrast ratio. No release date or price has been confirmed yet.
