The Marantz CR201 CD player has a nice mirror surface that opens to reveal the CD drive. While playing, a set of blue LEDs illuminates the CD so you can see it hypnotically spinning right through the mirror panel. The player also uses an “intelligent 3D sound” system that ensures “accurate and high quality sound reproduction”. The Marantz CR201 CD player is currently available from AudioCubes for $759.

Well Marantz can fix that problem for all you eager men out there. That’s not the best part! It only goes for only $51.42! Additional features include a contrast of 1000:1, 1000 lumens of brightness, a DDP3021 chipset from Texas Instruments, 10-bit video processor, with a chipset of GF9531, capabilities for Pal and NTSC, and HDMI 1.3a.
Here is a new vertically oriented CD player from Marantz. The CR101 looks like a programmable thermostat. The device comes with a pair of remote controls: a mini 8-button remote and a bigger size of remote control. Priced at $331, the CD player also boasts a 2.1ch (10W sub and 2x 5W speakers) with AM/FM tuner. Marantz’s CR101 will be available in Japan later this month.
