Memorex has launched the Mirror for Photos line of external HDDs. Designed for photographers, this external hard drive automatically backs up photos when connected to the computer without having to open numerous settings, dialogs or having to navigate multiple menus. The device will find picture files on the computer’s hard drive and backs them up. The Memorex Mirror for Photos is available in three sizes, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB, or an estimated capacity of 64,000, 100,000 and 128,000 high-resolution photos respectively. Memorex of all brands has come out with a portable dvd player, the MVDP1085-FLRB portable DVD player, is $149 and has a crappy two hours of internal battery among other features. The MVDP1085-FLRB DVD player features an 8.4-inch swiveling widescreen LCD display and 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. It plays all writable and re-writable DVD and CD formats, and includes built-in stereo speakers.

Memorex introduced the Mi1111 iPod speaker system. This 2.1 tabletop system provides a built-in iPod docking station, top-loading CD player, digital radio, audio line-in, and advanced wireless remote. The Mi1111 is expected to be available in June.
